Refugees are not migrants and migrants are not refugees. 90% of the people can't understand the differences... very sad. I am from Hungary (EU). If I move to Norway I will act as migrant (who is leaving homecountry but I am not in danger), and I won't get money support I need to pay for everything by myself there. Refugees are who are in danger in their homeland and they need to leave their country to save their lives and they can get money support. Anyway officially refugees would be allowed to move to the next safe country where they need to register then if other countries want to accept them they can invite those (registered) refugees in their country. (Like in 1956 hungarian people was allowed to move only to Austria then other countries accepted them to move further in their countries.) If you mix these together then I could call others racist to because I am not arab I can't get support to migrate or what? Liberal media mix migrants with refugees what is nonsense.

The video makes it seem so easy. What a joke! The truth is that Norway is a very, very difficult country for most immigrants. The climate is a lot tougher than they imagined, with very long, hard and dark winters. The lovely nature photos are all taken in summer. In reality it sucks most of the year. Even summers can be rainy and shitty. Also, many refugees dislike the remoteness, the boredom,the lack of social interaction during the spring, fall and winter, and most of all the bland food and the sky high prices. 20 cigarettes cost 13 euros, a pint of beer 9 euros, a cup of coffee or an ice cream 3 euros, a sandwich 5 euros, and a kebab 12 euros, going to the movies 9 euros, taking a taxi 1 km 13-18 euros, train 100 km 36 euros (prices 2018) It's totally crazy. Some asylum seekers have to live in cramped asylum centers for years before their applications go through, unhappy and miserable, due to long queues and lack of housing in the municipalities that receive refugees. Learning such a different language is also difficult, and the big differences in dialects make it hard to understand everyone even if you do manage to learn the language. And even if you speak English fluently, that won't help you get a job. If I were a refugee, I would NEVER EVER choose Norway, Sweden or Finland unless I had no other choice. Even Norwegians, that are used to shitty weather, dream of escaping the winters, go to Spain or such. This is the reality, so if you dislike the cold, you really should choose somewhere cheaper, nicer and warmer: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mmrSh4Frfqmll6M Good luck!

So how can someone live in Norway legally
@beepboopbeepp3 жыл бұрын
@@mikenice1931 Norway has always had really strict immigration laws, unless you are accepted as an asylum seeker in a norwegian quota agreed by the norwegian state to take in or per EU-Norway agreement of asylum seekers you won't be accepted. The only other way to be accepted into Norway is if you have some work reason there, there are lots of polish carpenters here and others in schengen who live and work here. Immigration to get to stay permanently is largely based on if you have a high education inside for example computer sciences, or the medical field which is very much needed here in Norway. Hope that clears up some things, a lot of people seem to think Norway is an amazing place for asylum seekers, but we have never had open asylum and immigration laws, it has always been very restricted. Also even if you manage to get here, the social support system called NAV might provide you with money, but they are harsh, and it isn't just free, the longer the time passes the more they will push you to take a shitty job unless you have some medical condition. Last option would be to marry a norwegian, probably the safest bet honestly, but i won't even try to grasp how anyone would manage that out of the blue.

what's up with all the racism and immigration hate? Immigration is important. Our king emigrated from norway to england during WW2 and members of the resistance movement emigrated to Sweden. There are situations when emigration is the only viable option. There are situations in other countries that force people to do the same thing we have done in the past. You can discuss whether we accept too many imigrants, if it's good or bad etc, but stopping immigration completely would be tremendously immoral.

+OrzelBialy616 I do not think many Norwegians have much against the Polish immigration. The problem is that they don't join trade/labour unions and they have made the salary increase in certain professions to slow down. So it have weakened the labourer's position in Norway. On the other hand, the housing market is extremely expensive. The oil sector uses a large work force and we've absolutely needed more workers to keep the wheel spinning in mainland Norway.

Can't you realize migration is not the same as asking for asylum (refugees)??? Fucking liberal media mix these together. Real refugees are attacked in their country (war), but there are many fake refugees they are not from dangerous country but throwing away ID and other papers to make impossible to make proof about their real identity and they only come in EU to get money support. And real migrants go to other countries to get job and making better life there so they want to work and behave well (not complaining about the country where they are).
