His passion for this franchise is inspiring to me, and I'm sure many of you guys. But nonetheless, Nobbel, this was an amazing video and spotlight on such an EPIC moment in the game's history. During the defense of Sen'jin village, the level 12 witch doctor Bom'bay can be seen casually strolling through the village, hexing Kor'kron into small random critters. The hex didn't break on first damage either, so you could usually get in a few 'free hits'. Interestingly, the orcs of Razor Hill were generally opposed to Garrosh. Even the orc warrior trainer is in a cage, saying "I have trained hundreds of warriors. Garrosh now throws their lives away. He is no longer MY warchief."

Wow. I played a Troll from vanilla to Cata before stopping, and the Darkspear Rebellion ALMOST makes me want to play again. The assault on Razor Hill is epic! Seeing those areas from so many years back... such a blast from the past.

I've always thought the Horde is a more real and tangible faction, they aren't unrealistically loyal to each other like the Alliance is. The Horde is a group of races that banded together for survival against those that would see them eradicated; The Alliance for example. That being said, the only time I'm going to ever like the Alliance is when Anduin takes control, that boy is much more peaceful and level headed than his father, and will probably create true peace between factions.

Burningrevolver I never like to hope for the death of any character but Jaina has become a hateful creature. She is, by far, not the only character to experience loss in Warcraft but she's walking a dark path. Something better change soon otherwise I don't see anything good in her future.

Alliance got shafted because 1. IT'S THE HORDE'S DAMN REBELLION and 2. Alliance sucks. For the Horde! Lok'tar ogar! As a huge faction loyalist myself, I like how both factions have different scenarios. It's good to see that they can do that with Horde every once in a while, because it happens alot with the alliance.

Sadly I missed the Darkspear Rebellion because I don't play WoW during summer. When I came back from my vacation patch 5.4 was already live. That's the main problem I had with Mists of Pandaria. The patches came up too fast for me to keep up with the story while Siege of Orgrimmar lasted for over a year.

I can't agree with your hatred of the Alliance not getting the cool Horde stuff. If there aren't faction specific things, what the fuck are you playing a specific faction for. I guess for the lore buffs it makes sense, but for me as a faction loyalist, I very much enjoy the asymmetric approach. It adds variety and reasons to play both sides, and some sense of pride in your choice to pick one or the other.

Casey Smyth In fact I play both. Though most of my characters are Horde, more of my max level characters are Alliance and my hatred of Gnome Rogues is almost surpassed by my hatred of Blood Elf Paladins. I will still argue that having very faction specific things are a wonderful part of World of Warcraft that adds to the world. I'm sorry, I still cannot see the Alliance being allowed to take part in the Horde's internal struggle. These are Horde leaders fighting for Horde land and the future of the Horde and its people. I don't recall if the Council of Three Hammers had any big events leading up to its formation, but this would be the kind of the that only the Alliance should have been given access to. It's an internal Alliance thing.

+Matt G I think that is... hard to say. It would be nice for all players to see the effort they put into this story moment, even if they are not horde players. But there are other story moments that are different for the factions, it's not the only moment that is this way in the game. But i have to admit i am VERY happy that Blizzard did give the horde this moment at all. I really didn't like Garrosh at first, in comparison to Thrall. But the moment in Stonetalon was great, that was a moment where i could respect him as a Warchief. Turning him into such a bad person i didn't really like (he WAS a very good antagonist the way they did the story, but i didn't like the idea itself), because the horde always was the "evil" faction of the two for many people/players (okay, anyone who knows lore also knows that this is not true). To give horde players such a great moment of the faction how it SHOULD be is nice considering they played in the faction that somehow is in part the big evil in the expansion.

Lorewalker Cho is a pandaren who is a storyteller. He's Blizzards way of explaining the history of Pandaria and the current story for those that don't want to read the quests and scrolls. In 5.3 he's used to guide you through the storyline. If you want to see more of his stories I have a 2 videos called The Lore of Pandaria & Lorewalker Cho 5.2 Stories.

Am I the only one that shed a bit of tears while listening to the conversation between Thrall and Vol'jin around 20:50? Being a Horde player myself and an Orc player since WC3, I've always admired and loved the relationship between Thrall and his fellow comrades. Being Alliance I had not seen the Horde part of the questline (my horde alt is still sleeping somewhere in Outland), thanks for showing, it is very powerful stuff.
