The rules of Mak'gora from the book: 1. Each combatant choses a weapon of his choice. 2. Each combatant choses a shaman to bless his weapon. 3.The only armor that is allowed is a piece of lien cloth. 4.Each combatant choses one witness for the duel!

Maybe not tendrils. From what I've seen of halfbreed fan art in Warcraft. The halfbreed takes on the most physical traits from the genetically stronger individual. (In most cases, its the orcs) Since we do not see mok'Nathal (half orc/ogres) with horns, we see that people like Rexxar or lantresor The Blade retain many orcish traits, they simply have a bigger size to them and possibly a few other defects. In the terms of Orc/Draenei, which most of the time was not done consensually; and as for Garona Halforcen, the only real Halfbreed between an orc and Draenei I care to mention. She didn't have many Draenei traits. In fact she pretty much looked like a green human, human hands feet, with some definite orcish features like Green skin, muscle tone, tusks. tl:dr basically half breeds are a very tricky subject in wow because there's very few to mention. The offspring of one of these couples take on the defining genes of one of the parents. Either an Orc, or Human and as we've seen, even Draenei. We haven't seen evidence of any other halfbreeds in other cultures thus far. But I theorise that is due to them having non compatible genes to procreate.

Thrall truly did fail Garrosh, put him in an impossible position. He got the title just as the entire world was literally falling apart, he was questioned at every turn by his so called advisors. Cairnes death isnt even on Garrosh's hands it was the bloodhoof that poisoned his blade and after that Garrosh had to deal with death threats from Voljin, Sylvanas becoming the new lich king and spreading her new plague and ressing people with the very same power that the lich king used(the valkyrs), the Taurens despised him after the death of Cairne AND they where consorting with the alliance. Goblins were just generally greedy and lacked honor and the blood elves just cared about themselves and their legacy and i mean they are elves, thats enough reason for him not to trust them. All he could rely on was the Orcs and thats why he started all this racist bullshit and despise of the other races of the horde. It wasnt because he was a bad person it was because they showed him that they could not be trusted and showed little or no fealty to him as a warchief. After he realized that his only true allies were the orcs and you look at it from his perspective he really did what was best for his people. Keep in mind that he is inexperienced and has some major daddy issues, its no wonder things ended up like they did. He was put in an impossible situation, got betrayed att every turn and still kept on fighting for what he thought was right. Its not just Garrosh's fault, and its not just Thralls either but a HUGE part of this whole business falls on Cairne and Voljin, had they served as the advisors they were supposed to be none of this would have happened. Had they showed trust and lent a helping hand to Garrosh things would have turned out very differently.

Dont forget who rebuilt Orgrimmar after Shatterize when Orcs were starving and brought order back in the ranks of the Horde. Garrosh of course. Even though this is just a game, I got attached to Garrosh, and seeing him die like that, dishonorably, its kinda pain. Well Blizzard was spitting enough on the Horde, I guess in next expansion they can spit some on the Alliance, them being baddies and such. Lok'Tar

Joshua King He knew Garrosh was aggressive and not fit to lead on his own. Thats why he appointed Cairne and Voljin to be his advisors. The most important aspect of Garrosh was his strenght both physical and mental, he never gave up and he never stopped fighting, Thrall knew this and he also knew the Horde would need a strong leader, there are few others in the Horde at that time that could match Garrosh's determination and strength. The more I think about it Garrosh was the only choice for Thrall, Cairne and his taurens are too soft and spiritual, Voljin doesnt really lead by example and is not the kind of leader the horde could look up to at a time of crisis hes brilliant but more of a tactitian than a leader. Garrosh was that white knight in shining armor that could bring back pride to the horde and who led by example. He was orcish pride incarnate and with the proper guidance(that he didnt get) he would have become a great warchief.
@bindair_dundat

It was not the bloodhoof that poisoned Garrosh' blade. Caire and Baine are Bloodhoofs. Magatha was Grimtotem. It was the Grimtotem who poisoned Garrosh' blade. A huge difference. Also I am sure it was stated somewhere, that Thrall had no other choice at that point. After their duel, Garrosh was recognised as a warrior, and later in Northrend as a war hero. After Northrend, the orcs liked him. The majority of the Horde were orcs, and they wanted a war hero as leader. They demanded a war hero. Garrosh had accomplishments, while Vol'jin and Cairne were pretty passive at that time. And Sylvanas and Lorthemar were obviously out of the picture. The fact that many orcs even followed him down the True Horde path shows how much they loved him. So it wasn't like Thrall chose Garrosh over everybody else due to his own beliefs, but rather he had to choose Garrosh and pray that the others can steer him in the right direction. If anything, the others failed Garrosh. As far as the game goes, we haven't seen Cairne or Vol'jin trying to treat Garrosh in a non-violent way. They were threatening him and challenging him to duels. If they were *better* leaders than Garrosh, you would expect they could have influenced him in any way. They didn't. And since the game skips this time without ever mentioning this, it never really happened. Thrall put his faith in Cairne and Vol'jin, and they failed him.

I'm not gonna hate on the fight itself, I don't believe we've ever had a set of rules for it. Here's the best part though, Garrosh's whole spiel during the fight? He's absolutely right! Thrall DID leave him to fix his mess. Everyone told him it was a bad idea, even Garrosh didn't think he could handle it. I hope they don't try to pass it off as nothing, it would be nice to have Thrall realize it's kinda sorta his fault. They had a bit of it in War Crimes.
@Nooctae
@Nooctae 9 жыл бұрын
I agree. I mean, Garrosh's actions went extreme during MoP in particular, but that can be explained by the Sha of Pride and everything, but in the end, everything that happens to the Horde since Cataclysm is Thrall's fault for leaving the Horde by itself. Which is a big reason why I would have been very angry if they made Thrall warchief again with no consequences.
@wittyreviewer
@wittyreviewer 9 жыл бұрын
***** I don't think Garrosh was under the influence of the Sha of Pride, not from the start of MoP anyway. Look at it all from his perspective. You were raised on tales of your father, how he betrayed them all and he was a terrible leader so on and so forth. Then Thrall comes a long, and tells you how great he was, how he saved them all in the end. Thrall brings him back to Azeroth, to see how the Horde works, and what does he find? Us chasing a pacifistic stance. I mean yeah, we fought the Alliance, but out and out war was never declared. Then we send him to Northrend, by the end of which he's a war hero. Is it any wonder he took a more militaristic stance as Warchief?
@Nooctae

Yeah I agree with you. It all fits in the idea that Thrall did indeed make Garrosh what he is.

If Thrall didn't leave though the whole dam world would explode. So I mean put your self in Thrall's shoes, he was under so much stress from the elements and that faction of shaman (forgot the name) were telling him to come fix the giant whole in the earth. So I mean he didn't have time to think. I personally think Thrall is amazing although I liked him pre-cata but he seems to be going back to old him in WoD. He just needs his epic long hair back

I would like to see WoD's Grommash redeemed, come to realization of his wrongs and possibly even join (lead?) Azeroth's Horde, I think it would be the perfect way to redeem both Garrosh and Grommash and restore the base idea of various races working together while retaining the Orc theme that the Horde has been built on. Grommash unlike Garrosh is far more experienced and knows that other races are not burdens but beneficial, he knows to take help where he can get it and built real alliances. The major obstacle to this I see isn't anything on Azeroth, but Durotan himself. This could easily be resolved in Draenor by having them build a friendship from being stuck in a bad situation, or better yet, leaving Durotan to lead the Draenor Horde. The Alliance might be weary of Grommash on Azeroth, but I think generally it wouldn't be something war-worthy. This could also give Azeroth a better basis for the sort of 'Cold War' theme that it's been built on since Vanilla (excluding MoP).

That's a severely unfair advantage towards warriors since a shaman would be splitting his/her time or even devoting a significant portion of time toward shamanistic powers and not so much on physical, whereas a warrior would be focusing everything on physical. Doesn't make sense if shamans themselves were allowed to participate.

I thought this too, but then I just assumed it was a personal thing between the two (YOU made me Warchief! You left me... To pick up. Your. PIECES! You. failed. ME!" - Garrosh, "You must pay for you crimes, Garrosh" - Thrall/Go'el). They didn't lay down any rules before the fight - or rules that we knew of - so it was probably a "This ends here, just you and me, to the DEATH!" Like a battle between Optimus Prime and Megatron, you can use any weapons as long as you have them with you at the moment, just as long as one of you dies.

+k01dsv Well, Garona Half-Orcen is Draenei and Orc. She has a child with a human so she's actually fertile(infertility being common among real life hybrids). So if two completely different species from different planets can create fertile off spring, everything is probably fair game. Though, like you pointed out, most combinations would probably look really weird. Only other hybrids I know of are human/high elf like Vereesa Windrunner's children.

This is my theory for how the expac will play out. 6.2 we might explore the ogre continent, kill some badass ogres, destroy the empire, gather some loot. 6.3 preparation for completely bringing down the iron horde. 6.4 we face off against what remains of the iron horde, and have some void storyline pop in. Gul'dan and the shadow council will probably be handled privately in the legendary questline. Thoughts?

RE: Azeroth reinforcements: Hey, so when you go to Ashran and see this base set up, what they say is that many of the forces that Khadgar left at the Black Portal, despite many deaths, managed to fall back to the islands just off the coast. Once there they began setting up but, as Khadgar was able, mages and warlocks start to open small portals. As such, they can bring in some supplies and forces but not major equipment like zeppelins or ships ((one npc says that he wishes they could've gotten a Zeppelin through and just bomb the alliance side during a random convo)). Eventually the tenuous pact broke down and we were back to fighting. It's not the best explanation, but it is one.

Some year back, I can't exactly remember when but it was sometime during Wrath of the Lich King, Garrosh challenged Thrall to a fight just like this in the Ring of Valor, in that fight Thrall used lightning and won the fight, back then no one considered it cheating?

you know whats ironic? if you look deep into what Garrosh says to Thrall in the fight "You made me what i am" it is actually true and here is the reason why. we all know that Thrall is Chris Metzen and that Thrall is the embodiment of Metzen in the Warcraft universe. we all know that Chris Metzen is the one who makes the story for Warcraft hence it was Metzen who chose the destiny of Garrosh and not Garrosh himself making what he says to Thrall aka Metzen true and what Thrall says "no, you choose your own destiny" a lie! RIP Garrosh you will be missed and

I've been catching up on the lore of WoD. Very engaging. I'll jump in to defend Thrall. This wasn't a mistake in the should have gone left instead of right. Thrall knew from the outset Garosh was flawed, but he was the best of the available choices. The best man for the job got axed in Icecrown. Others like Vol'jin and Caine didn't want the job. Thrall gambled that the responsibility of Warchief would temper the hot head. It was a gamble he lost but it wasn't a sucker's bet. The only sore point of this conclusion is that this could have happened in MoP. His crimes in Pandaria were just as many and just as great but when it was Pandas he needed his day in court. Now that we're dealing with orcs, trial by combat works for everyone.

Do you mean Dranosh? I see Varok Saurfang, his father, much more fitting as a sort of "transition-warchief" until Garrosh would have been ready. In the end, he was one of Garrosh's main advisors, but Varok always thought that Garrosh was a firebrand and inexperienced, as seen during the briefings at Warsong Hold in the Tundra.

I was referring to Saurfang. In WotLK, Thrall wasn't looking to retire and he was one of the few that saw the necessity with working with the Alliance to topple Arthas. By the Cataclysm, Thrall knew he couldn't be shaman and warchief. Of the available candidates, Garrosh was the best on paper. My point is that this error wasn't on Thrall. Garrosh had plenty of warnings, plenty of chances and he blew threw all of them. Now that its all come crashing down he doesn't get to cry like a baby that its all someone else's fault.

When did Cairne say that he didn't want the job? I'm curious. Then again, I think it's a very human story (if you're willing to set aside the fact that the lore was/is purposefully written to provide content for the expansion). This guy thought this, that guy thought that, they weren't entirely wrong, things just got out of hand, as a series of bad decisions snowballed into the avalanche that was MoP.

The problem with "untold stories" is that they will never be finished. In Cata we had many interesting stories that were never touched again, not even in books. And that is supposed to be our "main" world. Magatha Grimtotem gaining the powerful tauren artifacts and disappearing. Neptulon being dragged to Azshara by the Kraken. Koltira being dragged to the Undercity on Sylvanas' orders. Everything about N'Zoth who is said to have been using Deathwing. Everything about the Zandalaari. Everything about the Elemental Planes still being on Azeroth without Lords.

cantfindaname123421 They daren't touch Sylvanas because of her fanbase. Everybody hated Garrosh, Sylvanas on the other hand is likeable. Apart from the "protagonist duo" (Thrall and Varian), she is one of the few leaders with personality. Unlike, say, Tyrande or Baine. They are afraid of continuing the Neptulon/N'zoth story because the reception to the underwater zone was very bad. Most players hated it. That was the reason they abandoned the idea of Abyssal Maw (raid). Yep, they intended for 4.2 to have the two remaining Elemental Planes as two raids. Both with about 7 bosses with Fire+Water themes. And once they learned that players hated being underwater, they scrapped the underwater raid and focused on the outisde zone of Firelands. That is why that major patch only got 7 bosses. That is why that stupid daily quest tree was implemented to replace content they had to remove. Patience has nothing to do with these. They go for sales, and if something doesn't sell, they will abandon that idea and go for something else. I'm pretty sure they didn't know they were going to go to alternate past Draenor when they did the Cataclysm quests.

Bindair Dundat I love how you spent 90% of this comment misunderstanding what I said, and telling me what I already know. "Touching" Sylvanas or "continuing her story" does not directly translate into her getting total evil and we kill her off - there are a billion things they could do to her story without her being killed. Also, they can do stuff about Neptulon and especially N'zoth without underwater being required

Great video Nobbel as always you deliver. Though I have a few gripes with the Thrall Garrosh fight. Visual wise it was great, just look at that grass. But narrative wise it feels like them walking out on it. Oh all this is Thrall's fault, he stirred Garrosh in this direction? Nope it was his own destiny. That moment is terrible, it is a terrible excuse and Thrall does not even pause a bit he just flat out says it is only Garrosh's fault. And whose ideas was to give Thrall burning red eyes? He looks like a demon, and the music does not help. Neither does Aggra's emotionless voice. Though if Shaman powers are ok to use, what was the point of Thrall not going full Avatar the last airbender on Garrosh's ass in the first place. It's not like he could not just immobilize Garrosh. It would have been easy to use too. Lastly that hand seems like some kind of foreshadowing. The cinematic ends only after Thrall leaves and Garrosh's hand comes out. Personally I would rather they just finish Garrosh here, they have destroyed him enough with MoP and War Crimes.

he does die there, you can go there and see him still in the rock (you can see it in the video) I think thrall wanted to honor the mak'gora rules and actually fight garrosh, but then realized that in a fight to the death, you do whatever it takes his eyes being red was probably a result of the fury burning within him. or that just happens to shaman who use fire/lava and you dont see it on characters because blizzard is to lazy to do that

He couldn't fight him in the final raid for MoP. in SoO it is said that the darm shamen twisted the elements for miles around. Thrall couldn't tap into that power because of those dark shamen. I thought this was an amazing cinematic. I believe that Thrall won fair and square.

Alex Gregory I know what they wanted to do, it would have worked if Thrall said instead of it's your own fault Garrosh, I know at the end of that. RoTTeNbAx I meant why did he not do his Shaman thing at the beginning of this cinematic. Boom fire wind earth and water, Garrosh insta dead. And I don't really think Thrall won fair and square. If this duel was about using everything you got, including magic. Then how would a warrior win at it? Something that their culture reinforces is physical power, so I don't think magic is allowed.

Nobbel the thing is not that Thrall cheated because he used his shamanistic powers. I mean Warrior is allowed to use his muscles so a shaman is allowed to use the elements. But, the thing is HOW Thrall used them. You are not allowed to kill an enemy who can't defend himself anymore. It is okay when you take him down and execute him after this. But you will lose your damn honor when you just hit the emergency button and let a giant earth hand grab your foe to kill him with a lightning bolt. That was an attack that Garrosh wasn't able to counter. Even in real battle out of Makgora an Orc will lose his honor when he kills an unarmed enemy. But well still after meeting his wild homeworld and his badass father Thrall is still a douche and more filthy human than an honorable Orc. And as we all know: In reality and in the World of Warcraft humanity sucks...

Generally in Mak'gora (at least, according to WoWwiki so take it as you will), once a weapon is abandoned (in this case tossed aside) the combatant can no longer use that weapon. Garrosh throwing Gorehowl was probably one of his biggest mistakes as he easily could have won had he not tossed it aside. So I'm not sure how an Orc can lose his honor when Mak'gora can easily end in death, and rules like that exist? Though I guess it could easily just be one of those unspoken things that everyone just kind of knows and no one talks about. And this is coming from someone who absolutely hates Garrosh.

I didn't like Garrosh back in Wrath because he became a huge douchebag with way too much pride. But his story in Cata was actually pretty good, he did a kick-ass job as the Warchief, he gave his people new resources even though that involved invading Azshara and Ashenvale (but this was due to the Night Elfs refusing diplomacy after the Twilight's Hammer framed the Horde for the druid ambush), he did not allow meaningless slaughter of innocent people like the questline in Stonetalon Mountains, he fought with the heroes in Twilight Highlands. He got some huge character development in the positive direction, but the other leaders were mostly insubordinate. And then... Blizzard fucked up with his character development with the Theramore bombing and MoP. They made him go mad with pride and power... AKA they pulled a typical "Blizzard needs a new raid boss villain!" The novel War Crimes did a somewhat decent job with wrapping up Garrosh's story with the Celestials saying he wouldn't be put to death... until Blizzard makes him break free to once again be a villain in WoD. And now this. I'm disgusted with how Blizzard wrote his end with this shitty one-sided duel. And it's made me lose respect for Thrall. Not only does Thrall essentially cheat since he used more than one weapon (Doomhammer and his Shaman powers) and wore more armor, the dialogue from Thrall is pathetic. Garrosh is right, Thrall left him to pick up the pieces of a breaking Horde after Icecrown, Thrall put him in that position when he didn't really want it, Thrall did fail him. And while Garrosh isn't 100% right that Thrall made him the way he was because he does have his own responsibility to own up to, Thrall's response is completely childish. He completely deflected the blame and tried to come across as the good guy while killing a helpless Garrosh. And just the fact that Thrall even wanted the duel to the death to kill Garrosh kinda goes against Thrall's character. Yes Garrosh failed the Horde (due to shitty writing IMO), but so did his father Grom back in the third war. Grom attacked and murdered humans despite Thrall telling him not to. Grom doomed the Warsong Clan by redrinking the blood of Mannoroth, and murdered the Night Elves and Cenarius (that is, until Cenarius came back in Cata), Grom invoked the invasion of Kalimdor by the Burning Legion and this would of course have meant the end of Azeroth. And yet despite all this, Thrall still spares him and purges the demonic influence from Grom and regards Grom as a hero for sacrificing himself to kill Mannoroth. But when it comes to his own son who the Celestials decreed should not be die, Thrall just says fuck it and takes the easy way out of punishing Garrosh rather than re-imprisoning him or teaching him from his character flaws. Good job, Blizzard... good fucking job...

I really hated the addition of Aggra in Cata. I think Blizzard missed a huge opportunity for an awesome story and a continuation of sorts of TFT's Durotar campaign. I am, of course, talking about the Thrall - Jaina relationship. Let me explain. In Founding of Durotar, Thrall gave Jaina the benefit of the doubt, didn't kill her soldiers and let her help cleaning her family's mess. Jaina acted very honorably - even though Daelin was her father, she did was had to be done. So they parted on good terms. Right after the Theramore bombing was a perfect opportunity for Jaina to repay in kind. Thrall could've approached her as an old friend and told her that #NotAllHorde and that revolution is already brewing against Garrosh. It would be her turn to give *him* the benefit of the doubt, maybe even go with him to Durotar later and help the Darkspear revolution (which could've been also transformed into a good reason for a full-fledged Alliance involvement in patch 5.3). And, of course, along the road, they would begin to "know each other better". By doing this, they could've made a very high quality romance. An epic tale of inter-factional, interracial friendship and love. And, of course, saved Jaina in the process from transforming into a hysterical warmonger, when she started off as the thinking, logical voice of reason for the Alliance. And in the end, what we have is an awesome character completely ruined, a tacked-on romance and a lot of good juicy fanfic material. Too bad I can't write for shit :(

I agree. I was really surprised when they added Aggra in. Then told us that she's Thrall's mate and that's that (I know there's a book but come on...). They really dropped the ball on the Thrall - Jaina relationship in my opinion. It was brewing for expansions. At least if they didn't want them to be involved, a solid friendship still in place would have been decent as well.

YES. Soooo.....especially given this is one of the most crucial turning points in the lore........whhhhy, exactly, did they use cheap cop-out in-game models rather than create a really visually stunning cinematic like they did for the death(s, because apparently lore doesn't have to make sense) of Manneroth? i will just put it here (nobody will read it whatsoever) First of all, Thrall HAVE TO FUCKING SAVE THE WORLD IN CATACLYSM(controlling maelstrom,Dragon Soul,etc), so he choose Garosh to became Warchief of horde because he knowledge his skill, his leadership, and its his BEST FRIEND son. Secondly, Caine and Voljin did not want to become the Warchief, but they both along with Lor'themar(Belf) and Sylvanas(undead) did agree to make Garosh the warchief(or even dont give a shit). [See MoP ending "choosing" a warchief need approval, they all did agree to make voljin the warchief(or even dont give a shit)] Secondly, GAROSH did FAILED Thrall, Thrall put his trust on him to become the warchief and lead the horde... well... Garosh didnt do a good job... or rather, he abuse this posisition to do whatever he want with the horde, civil war everywhere. Thirdly, GAROSH made a lot of crimes (Using nukes,Stealing Vale of Eternal Blossoms,Using the power of Old Gods,AND TAKES FULL CONTROL OF OGRIMMAR,ALTERING REALITY,etc) Forthly, About the battle between Thrall AND Garosh, i dont really know what is it with the orc custom about a battle between orcs, BUT, i am really sure they need to FIGHT EACH OTHER UNTIL DEATH WITH THEY FULL STRENGTH, Garosh is a warrior(or whatever) so he fight with Physical, and Thrall is a Shaman(or whatever) so he fight with Magical, both fighting with their own power so its a fair and square battle.period. [or are you saying a battle between a warrior and a mage have to be settled with swordfight? in arena? or in 1v1? gimme a break! FIGHT WITH YOUR OWN STRENGHT EITHER PHYSICAL OR MAGICAL] And the fifth and the final, Garosh did choose his own destiny, he did all of those shit by his own fucking WILL, so justice is served! he died. fuck that dude. sorry for the bad english :( if you read this you're awesome

Hard to believe that this was the same Garrosh who was hesitant about leading his own clan. And in the case of Mak'Gora. There isn't any actual ruling on how this works out. Before the duel, they themselves decide the conditions that are to be met. Garrosh didn't say "No magic", so it's basically legal.

No it is not. There is a ruleset to Mak'gora and Thrall did cheat. As described in The Shattering, Bloodsworn and Blood and Thunder the rules for Mak'gora are: Each participant is allowed one weapon. A blessing of this weapon by a shaman of their choosing is permitted, but not required. Body armor is forbidden. Each participant must have at least one witness. If both participants refuse to fight one another, they are banished from the clan. Traditionally, it is to the death, but under Warchief Thrall's rule it became a non-lethal combat, similiar to Warsong's Mak'Rogahn. Participants can choose to forgo this change. However, even when operating under the old rules, the victor can choose to spare the loser's life, though it's considered a grave insult.

Synetic Prime I was under the impression that they were the ones who chose those rules for their match.

+Synetic Prime But Thrall didn't cheat. No where in the Mak'gora does it state that Shaman magic couldn't be used. Even to the point that weapons could be blessed by Shaman magic. Plus, in The Shattering, Cairne only states his term of the rules. Plus, you quote Bloodsworn, but in Bloodsworn, when Ashra and Shagara fight, they both use magic (note that Shagara used Shaman magic, as Thrall did). Plus, I don't understand why you quote Blood and Thunder, because that comic doesn't even state any rules for Mak'gora at all, so it's completely irrelevant to this topic.

Oh my... Imagine Vol'jin babysitting two baby orcs!? Hahaha I would LOVE to see them act all tough in Orgrimmar with their uncle Vol'jin! :D Haha even better would be if Sylvanas and Lor'themar moved to OG as well and are helping raise Thrall's kids! :D Vol'jin teaches them to be nice and stuff, Sylvanas teaches them to shoot and do crazy pranks and Lor'themar tells them: "Do NOT touch the HAIR!"

I want to see Vol'Jin on babysitting duty. Trying to coddle a newborn while Thrall Jr. tears about the house like a lunatic. "Please, Vol'jin, look afta da children, Vol'Jin. I know you da' Warchief, Vol'Jin, but I gotsa' go help mah husband, Vol'Jin... *grumble grumble*"

Lore is just lacking at this point I have to say. The cool thing about Warcraft was always, for me anyway, that the struggle is really hard and sometimes the bad guys do win. The IRON HORDE is more like the THE ALUMINUM HORDE if you ask me...

I don't know, I just preferred if the player killed Garrosh, it just, everyone took on the Lich King, Kil Jaeden, and yet Garrosh with his Bare Fists take us down despite our strength, and suddenly Green Jesus waltz and just...Poof!... Damn I am ranting.

Epic end cinematic. I would like to have more great Death Knights back in the lore. The Lich King was just so epic, so epic, that I dont have any words for how epic The Lich King was. Arthas (and I did WC3 single player many times) was weak in the mind, always eager to rule, to out-do his father (or as he said himself, "succeed" his father), therefore easily seduced by the dark side. And even more epic was Yogg-Saron. We need more Faceless Terrors and old gods! Not to talk about the Fallen Titan who lurks in the Twisting Nether, probably conjuring a swarm of Felguards, Imps, Infernals and Doomguards.
