I'm more into pvp but I love the lore and respect dungeons and raids, the upside down part of kharazan and other bits like plays and Ghostbusters are pure creative brilliance. Hey you remember a while back I said that hearthstone was predicting the future of warcraft? they predicted the return of karazan, even some of the new characters and mechanics within the dungeon, new characters, the deaths of others, and even that Anduin would become a paladin. Granted some of this stuff was obviously going to happen a lot of it wasn't apparent. The Hearthstone guys are always hanging out with the WoW guys, ideas get cross pollinated between the two games. Some of the stuff we see in hearthstone is stuff that we will eventually see in game. With the announcement that 6.3 is going to be us going to argus i can now say with 110% certainty that the next expansion will be about the old god's. with about 75% certainty I can say that the Old God's will be unleashed by the meddling of the Infinite Dragon Flight which will Rerwite history, and during the expansion we will be partnering with Ragnaros the light lord (Tired of being controlled by the old God's he turned to the light to break free). fight deathwing head on and release the few remaining dragons that were enslaved by him and the Old god's.

yeah I would love to see an expansion where the entire world isn't at stake and its just us dealing with Azeroth stuff. I'm not 100% that this one was born from talks of a future wow expansion or not but this could maybe show up as a patch. People have talked about wanting a goblin casino for a long time and maybe this is how we get it.

He is most likely alive. After Warcraft 3 (Archimondes death at Mount Hyjal) he just says, he'll take his place with the guardians of the past or something like that. It isn't mentioned whether he is alive or dead or whatever, just that he feels that the races of Azeroth can defend themself now.

He was dead when lothar chopped his head of, after that pre wc3 medivh appeared at balcony and spoke to khadgar then he flew away and events of wc3 kept going where we saw him resurrected. since then he wasn't seen, but I am not sure that its him. look his first words in 7,1 were I left so many fragments of my self in kara, probably its one of his fragments, but not him personaly, but stil, he should be alive.

that last boss was a mess, after.. like 6 wipes, my team beat him with a perfect score, I (tank) didn't drop below 80%, everything that could be was interrupted, and then we killed the guy without losing a person. Like.. we kept on losing people in the first phase, I constantly balanced around 20%... and then that finish.

I always thought that Med'an only got those powers temporarily to fight Cho'gall and C'thun, and then gave those powers back afterwards. This fixes all the annoying parts related to his story, especially the whole "Azeroth doesn't need a Guardian" message Khadgar and Medivh keep pushing. But, I've never actually read the comic, so maybe I just misunderstood.

Medivh, I like you, and these lines about staying in the past or giving us control of our own destiny and so on, it's a nice sentiment, very applicable in a lot of situations, sounded especially good when things look like they're going to be peaceful, but when we're dealing with the literal torment and enslavement or possibly destruction of the entire universe they kind of fall a little flat in that specific scenario. If you don't show up again in a later expansion to show you've been doing important things about the Void Lords or similarly vital tasks then you're going to come off as kind of an ass. It's a bit like what happened with the dragons. Yes, age of mortals, very nice of you, but when we're going to keep on having to fight demons and mind bending void horrors having a few dragon pals around will be very handy. Besides that we like you and we want you around and it's your home too so we'd really rather prefer if you hung around and stayed involved, thanks.

Wow.. Aran got quite an upgrade with his retcon. used to just be a middle-level conjurer from Stormwind Aegwyn seduced for her own use - to sire a child on her. Now he's "the most unrelenting of the Tirisgarde who grew a relationship with Aegwyn through fierce battles." I can see why they do it... but at the same time it feels a bit cheep to keep on upgrading every incidental person in the lore to "strongest/greatest/epic-ist person evar!"

Nobbel, I have a lore question unrelated to the video. Eredar are supposed to be one of the most magically-powerful races in the Warcraft universe, to the point that their prowess inspired the incredibly icky experiment leading to Garona Halforcen's birth (oddly, as a fairly weak and frail Assassin with few magical powers she lacks the desired characteristic of either parent species, which raises serious questions about Warcraft's concept of hereditary genetic traits that would've been required for such an experiment to even have been considered, but that's not what this is about). So my question is, given how powerful and common magic-users are among the Eredar species, why are there so few Mages among the Draenei? Maybe in the main timeline they gave up that kind of magic so the Legion wouldn't detect them, but in the alternate timeline in Warlords of Draenor, that catastrophic invasion wouldn't have prompted such a change yet, and yet Draenei Mages are nowhere to be found, despite Eredar magic literally being the thing that caused Kil'Jaeden's scout to discover them in the first place? Is this just one of those massive plot holes we have to accept to enjoy WoW lore, or is there an actual explanation for why there seem to be so very, very few Draenei Mages in either timeline?

Every crystalsmith of the Draenei uses arcane and/or light magic for the armour, the weapons, the defense crystals, and whatnot that they craft. Arcane magic is also the second pillar of Draenei civilisation, together with the Light. I guess we seldom see them as characters because the Draenei try to embody the Lights virtues, even as a mage, and so a Vindicator or Anchorite is better if you want to show how Draenei are and what a draenic hero looks like (or might look like).

I feel bad for M'dan. He deserved to have his story told, but because no one liked how Gary Stuish his origin was, they dropped him entirely. What an upsetting fate for such an epic legacy.
