khadgar may not want to be the guardian but if it looks like it, smells like it and acts like it then he is the guardian he just isnt been imbued with power the way the old Guardians were, we the players are lending him our strength (but lets face it, it probaly a good thing he isn't getting Imbued with power he's dam strong as is)

That's the whole point. He doesn't mind being "a" guardian. He just doesn't want the power, or the temptation that comes with it.

I hate the whole, I don't want the power of a guardian, I'm scared of the temptation and corruption bullshit, it basically says there is no such thing as good hearted people and anyone and everyone would be corrupted if they gained such power, I'd like to believe there are characters that could attain such power and not immediately go bat shit insane and try and destroy everyone. Not wanting it, I get that, you shouldn't want it if you're the right person to use it, but if you have the opportunity and you refuse it in spite of all the lives you could save, well that just seems silly and basically says there is no such thing as good people and true heroes, you're only good if you're weak enough to be good, get too strong and you'll turn evil. Wut.

The whole point of not having a guardian is not to have Azeroth to rely on it. Medivh and Khadgar always stated this. That the whole poitn of warcraft 3, the fate of the world is in mortal hand.

Hey Nobbel. A quick video suggestion, as a thing to end out 2016, maybe discuss future Class Heroes in Hearthstone. For example, Rogue class only has Valeera. But I would think that Blizzard could maybe later add Garona or even Vanessa VanCleef as a playable hero. Perhaps even Nathanos as a Hunter. Nubundo for Shaman. Maraad for Paladins. The list goes on!

when blizzard removed the athiesh fragments while naxxramas went to northend they also rewrote the story and the stuff was never brought from kara to dalaran and never got scatterd, kahdgar just went to karaza and took it

(please correct me if im wrong) In the novel "The last guardian" , after medivh died at the hands of khadgar and lofar, it was written that the whole tower accepted khadgar as its master, and all the fragments of memories from the corrupted medivh were consumed by khadgar and each one had given him more and more power. Khadgar wasn't really anle to cast many spells before that. Thats what I remmember from the novel.

The only reason people dislike him is because its become a fad to hate characters that are "super" there is nothing wrong eith medan. Gsrona and medivh having a relationship and a kid is a really cool story, and medans story was really cool. Medan is cool. I think he can and should totally show up in wow so,eday. Its fine that he isnt the gaurdian anymore, they could easily write it as he gave up his powers and went on to do whatever. Following in a new expansion or something. He can still have shamanic priest and mage magic, but he doesnt have to be super powered. All they have to do is a little bit of lore that medan met khadgar had a heart to heart and ended up not only giving up his powers but gving khadgar his staff then medan goes off to space or something.

Just a side comment: Atiesh is a word found in the Persian language (farsi) and roughly translates into "fire" or "flame" depending on who you ask.

I actually read the Last Guardian some months ago. and at the End it said that Khadgar transformed into a Raven and flew Off. And in the Clip that you showed he said "atieshes Raven Form " by that logic he should have had atiesh all along.

This is a well known staff, that was wielded to other people, and I really want to know who created the staff. Probably a ancient order of Humans probably created it. Kept it hidden until a Guardian was chosen, and it was brought to become the Guardian's chosen weapon ever since.

Azshara was the most powerful sorcerous ever known to Azeroth 10,000 years ago she was more powerful than Mannoroth himself and even Archimonde feared she could hold her own against him, and this is solely her own power without any external influence like fel-magic and being imbued with the guardian's power. Aegwynn at the height of her power when she destroyed the avatar of Sargares most likely would have been able to take down War of the ancients Azshara, but post-War of the ancients Azshara has had a further 10,000 years to gather her strength and she has been imbued heavily with old god corruption/power, present day Azshara would most likely be more powerful than any of the guardians at the height of their power and would most likely be more powerful than Kil'jaeden, Archimonde and Deathwing in terms of powerful antagonists within the game, Azshara doesn't get much credit because she has been at the bottom of the ocean out of sight, but she is by far one of the single most powerful antagonists within the game, and rightfully so WoW is seriously lacking in powerful female villains.

Not a nobbel, and just lorewalker but still. Medivh was the most powerful guardian, strongest mage that the world has ever seen. Capable of transcending the vastness of Twisting Nether and Void. Man who was able to create stable portal to another planet. All the knowledge gathered by mages for centuries at his disposal. The only being on Azeroth that Deathwing feared. On the other hand queen Azshara, ruler of the Kal'dorei empire, the Light of Lights, Empress of Nazjatar, the most powerful sorceress to ever walk Azeroth. Her powers and mastery over the Well of Eternity were unmatched. Mannaroth dared not to point weapon at her. Even Archimonde feared that she may be more powerful than he. Now empowered by the old gods last queen of Kalimdor holds sway over the horrors beneath the sees and her power grows. This will be close call either way. Tho losing the Well was probably a big hit, she most likely adapted to the situation. If we are going to talk pre-sundering, Medivh has little to no chance of wining. However without giant pool of raw power at her disposal Azshara is weaker than she used to be. In present time I'm going to give the win to Medivh, just because we didn't seen much from Azshara in past 10 000 years and not even before, she didn't really used magic as a weapon that much.

Medan was not retconned thank you very much and he is not a bad character I love the idea of Medans character and want to see him done justice in world of warcraft. His comics and the events within said comics that painted him out to be the god-like goody two shoes everyone knows him as were, so he has not been ret-conned, his character does still exist, Medivh and Garona did have a child, his history is just a mystery to us and the events of those comics not the characters themselves are no longer canon. Why hate such an awesome fucking character, seriously half human, quarter Draenei, quarter orc, son of a guardian and assassin, so much fucking potential, hate the god awful writer of the comics, not the character.
