A good comparison video of the two cars. I only have one comment to make you say at the price of the GT LINE you would go for the EV6. The thing is if you are comparing specs of the cars the EV6 at that spec level is over £10,000 more as that is the car I have. But that’s we’re I’m at do I buy the EV3 in top trim as a replacement to my EV6 when I come to change. As I would be saving that £10,000. And it’s a smaller car as there is only the two of us.

Kia Liffey Valley has an Earth 3, no HUD. What you're seeing in other countries may not be the same specs in Ireland. I was told they may have a GT Line in a few weeks and they will let me know.

When seeing the EV3 at my local dealer first thoughts were that the glass black exterior trim is way overdone very blingy and will soon look tatty. Much prefer the more restrained and tougher Earth look from what I see in this video especially the wheel arches.

I don't understand why cars of this size and price, aimed at families, aren't including 360 cameras for parking as standard. It's not going to be fun manoeuvring these expensive, scratchable beasts in UK multistorey car parks (designed for '80s cars) on a regular basis.

its not the final earth line unfortunatly.. they will strip it even more .. no tripods backlight no roof bars ... makes a big difference in looks

It is the final Earth line - the final Spanish version of the Earth line that is. What exactly is and isn't on each trim differs between countries.

No heat pump on basic trim. Madness for a EV

I went in to put a deposit on one. I think they look amazing, but you be costing yourself money over ownership without a heat pump. Bass trim is pretty well specced they really should have an option for heat pump ​@FéargalO

But remote park assist is standard.. go figure.. it's like they are artificially holding back essential (for an EV) features on the standard trim so they can charge a premium for top spec. Really bad decision.

Hyundai UK fit a heat pump as standard on the Kona. Kia this is a necessity for an EV not a luxury so no EV3 purchase from me until you do.

Longer and wider than the Soul and old e-Niro EVs. Not very compact unfortunately. Looking forward to the EV2 whenever that arrives, even though it will be less affordable than most of the other smaller EVs on the market.

Gloss black inside a car is bad enough, on the outside is ridiculous. And if they try and charge a subscription for basic things, they can do one, BMW tried it and it flopped.
