As a total novice fitting bike tyres, i ordered some Nobby Nic's for my step sons bike, only to discover today they are tubeless and his old tyres are tubed. The tubes need repairing or replacing but i'm hoping that i can still fit these new or repaired tubes with the new Nobby Nics as you have shown here and so long as i follow your guide and check the seating / fitting etc i should be ok ? Thanks very much

Tanx for the great video! Do You have lots of flats With tubes?? I have tubeless now, but I do not know to do it myself:) Tubes is easy though:)

If fitted correctly, fit a good tyre and at running at the correct pressure then no, tubeless allows you to run your tyres at a lower pressure without getting snake-bites

Hi, I needed your help, there was a business opportunity for a nobby nic tubeless and I have non Tubeless ready wheels, is this tire compatible with non tubeless ready wheels with tube? Will they work without problems? Nice video and thanks for your time

If only I could fit my Nobby Nic so easy. I can't do neither with bare hands nor with levers, I would snap the levers. It's so extremely tight that even heating the tire doesn't help. Putting some soap water doesn't help as well. Looks like I was unlucky and got some extreme in the tolerances of the rim and the tire. I can't even see the inner diameter of the rim while forcing the overlapping part of the tire over the rim. Will probably need some steel tool or something. I think to fit tire to a car is much easier in this case.

I did it! That was some long desperate fight using 2 levers (one locked on the rim stopping the second side of the tire sliding from the rim and the second one pushing in a small increments to its limits with big help of soapy water). I finally set the tire to the rim using huge force. Even the first sidewall was pretty difficult to fit to the rim, if not much worse than the second one. At the end when I was putting the first sidewall to the rim I had to use a tip of a screwdriver since it was impossible to put the lever in between the rim and the tire (absolutely no gap at all and 5-7cm of tire remaining). Unbelievable pain :). I think I'll have a big problem in terrain in case of any defect. I'll rather buy steel levers and go tubeless as well. There must be something really wrong with the tire or the rim or probably both. Rim slightlyi behind the maximum tolerance and the tire slightly below the minimum tolerance. Pity I haven't recorded it. But it would be continuous swearing :).

Oh man, some day I had unplanned tubeless tire changing in a clear field and I had tubeless ready rim. It was so tight, and I had no tools with me. I have replaced it with bare hands, but my fingers were bleeding. It took about one hour but my life has become one year shorter.

How the fuck did he gets on. For me it’s a pain in the ass even with levers. Due to these tires I have fucked up my wheels
