It's amazing seeing how theory becomes verified by observation. Sequencing these proteins, theorizing their structure, and then closing in on ways to observe it. I can only imagine how elated these researchers felt.

Anyone who works with proteins and cell biology must have felt this technology coming. I remember in my classes thinking how amazing it would be to actually see the proteins at work.
