After saving for 5 years for my dream kit, I initially thought I would be getting a six piece DW Cherry mahogany. Then Noble and Cooley came out with their Union series and it was game over. Ordered in August last year, came in in December. With tulip shells, I have never had more Musical and responsive drums at all volumes. They record beautifully, they play Live beautifully, and the Hand stained tobacco black burst is gorgeous. Best of all, even with a matching snare, it was $1,500 less than the DW. I'd like to get a auxiliary alloy snare now to complete the kit. It still blows me away every time I walk into my studio and see this masterpiece.

Man !! I can't tell you enough what A GREAT DECISION you made. DW compared to Noble & Cooley is nothing. The badly layered plies of the shells, the massive choking lugs and the absurd prices are just a few big downsides. I own two NC kits and several snares and they're simply the best. Congratulations. I know your kit must sound fantastic.

They are phenomenal drums, the Rolls Royce of drums. They really are the best sounding drums I’ve heard in years.

I just received my N&C walnut 3-piece kit very recently! They look fantastic and tune up so easily. The tuning range is huge with such small changes. Beautiful drums, y’all. I cannot wait to record with these beauties. I’m over the moon with excitement to have them after waiting nearly 8 months. Massive thank you to Luke and the entire team at Noble & Cooley!! I love you guys. 🤘🏽

Just picked up an add on 22x16'' kick from the factory in Granville MA yesterday. The staff and builders at this company are all amazing people as well. The alloy classic is a must have for your studio collection

I’ve toured the factory a couple of times. I grew up in the next town over. It’s like taking a step back in time. Granville is a very small quaint New England town

Nick, how did you not say N&C are solid shell snare drum! These wood drums are made of one ply shells with reinforcing rings just like the old classic Slingerland Radio King snares … I’ve had few of these SS drums and they are amazing snare drums! The aluminum drums are awesome too!

Wow such a beautiful kit! Sounds awesome! It's so cool watching such a great drummer like you playing on such a special drumkit! Watched a production documentation about them. Amazing! When I'm older it would be cool getting a kit from them!

Loved the tone of N&C ever since I saw Chris Whitten playing them on the flowers in the dirty video. Way out of range if what I’m willing to spend but fun to hear and look at.

Steam bent ply wood shells? I've been trying to find out how N&C make their larger drums (the factory demos I've seen only show parts of the snare manufacturing process), but this tiny info bomb just makes everything as clear as mud.

FAT sound! I’ve used orchestral bass drums that didn’t sound that big. Evans heads and top of the line microphones make a big difference too.
@rudybarajas4159 Жыл бұрын
I don't know... that kick drum could definitley use some dampening . It sounded mushy to me . When you did the intro and went to the double kick there wasn't much definition and all it sounded like was just rumble .
@brushman202 жыл бұрын
Great demo but truly the price of these is way out of reach for probably a high percentage of us that will watch this. So many other great options at a more reasonable prices. Should be doing demos on things the average person can actually afford.
@johnthibodeaux51892 жыл бұрын
why would they NOT do demos on ALL the brands they offer. really? This is just one line NC has. Look at CD Maples the price is lower.
