I have sandy ground. Bermuda likes it but man it's hard to get it to do stuff.
@NobleResearchInstitute2 жыл бұрын
There are several pastures there that do have good luck with Bermuda grass for sure!

Love how bigger enterprises look at making this way of farming the main and only way. Seems like until now you'd only have small families with a couple of hectares look after their soil

Dr. Cathy Voss recommended watching your films, tho we're in South Central AZ. The soil is sandy adobe with great moisture holding capacity. But, plenty of caliche, Calcium Carbonate. Nothing roots in lime. Beautiful country, tho, and plenty of feed like mesquite, which has the same feed value as clover. When the Big Horn fires came north they were stopped dead when it hit range land. That, I told people, is when you raise your hands and thank God for the termite and cattle. Cattle break down dead growth and -forbs, and when they're on the ground AZ native termites cover it, then break it up and bury it where fire cannot touch it. God's peace.
