This came up randomly in my recommended YT front page and I'm shocked that you don't have more views or subs considering the amount of effort this video must have taken. A fun watch, well done.

This needs more views. I remember learning about LND back in middle school and it's such a beautiful mess. Personally, if there HAD to be a sequel, I'd go with grasshopper since it has the spectacle and potential, it's just the whole "they banged" aspect ruins the overall story, and while intriguing, Gustave being Erik's son makes no logical sense. If that _also_ had to be there, then it could have been a reason for Raoul to become a drunk in the first place out of suspicion, but noooo he's just a horrible, awful guy, noooothing like the SERIAL MURDERER THAT LIVED IN THE SEWERS FOR 20-40 YEARS. Nice job; you've earned a sub.

the lack of views is CRIMINAL. i’ve loved phantom since i was a kid and i LOVE watching people tear into love never dies. plus, grasshopper sounds like an awesome idea for a sequel! i’d love to hear it expanded upon!

Had it not gotten taken down like 4 times it would have had double the views by now

I would also argue that Love Never Dies is also a "Please take me back" plea from Andrew towards Sarah Brightman, his wife at the time who then divorced him in 1990. Coincidence? Maybe, but considering the role of Christine was written for Brightman...

16:27 that text says “the guy who originally hired them” I must have missed that when I mirrored all the movie footage.

This is...confounding. This only carries the name of Phantom, it's so ill and off kilter I really don't want to experience it. But you did so I'll sit in solidarity with you 😢😂 PS: rip to the guy in chains; he was a good spectator

I’m a massive fan of the phantom of the opera of the original 1910 book, the 1925 movie, the musicals the original version in 1986 and the 25th anniversary

I think a sequel could be done, yeah very fanficcy and fanservicey, "Erik's redemption arc", as we see him attempting a new life for himself, changing, maybe falling in love again, away from Christine and Raoul...But i feel people wouldn't like it. Erik/Christine shippers would loath it, and his haters could claim it's a "crime" to "redeem him". (despite it being a point in the source material). It would have to have a lot of compelling writing and characterization to make the story pop. (I think i'm the only person in the world who likes Erik but doesn't get Erik/Christine. The thematic idea is much stronger and beautiful- in that Raoul and Christine are the perfect "prince-princess" couple yet Erik, as the monster, doesn't get killed, he gets a second chance. IMO we should play more with that idea).

I give you the forth option but it only works for the 2004 movie : The Phantom of the Opera: Redemption Synopsis: This story is a direct sequel to 2004’s movie adaptation. Set in 1872 Paris, two years after main events of the first movie, the Phantom is a redeemed man now, has traveled across France and has learned to inspire love and hope through his music. However, he cannot get over his past sins, feels guilty for what he did, particularly to Christine. He has returned to Paris and has become a renowned musical teacher (No one knows he’s the former Phantom). He loves Christine even more but his love is no longer tainted by lust and obsession. Meanwhile, Christine, at peak of her singing career in the new Opera house of Paris, feels a great emptiness and longing for her Angel of Music. His last words to her can never escape her mind nor her heart can forget their kiss. Her fiancé, Raoul having been supporting her firmly, can feel her sorrow and wishes he could do something to ease her sadness. In the midst of these emotional tensions, an imposter disguises himself as the Phantom of the Opera, bringing havoc in Paris.
