QOTD: Easily Alolan Raticate. One of my favorite mons to run, very underrated. Sadly can’t make the most out of its typing (with its weaknesses). It would be nice to completely wall (traditional) energy from Annihilape if… it weren’t 4x weak to counter lol

Try running it in the lead with anni and lanturn in the back. Went 5-0 with it yesterday. I also have ran it with skele and giraffirag, you’d be better off running cresselia if you have a gl eligible cress. Had decent success with that team as well. Always run it lead. Return hits like a truck and stab crunch is really solid too. It shines in neutral situations and even better against ghost types, I’ve even beat a couple wigglys with alolan raticate despite the type advantage.

I feel like there's a sense of added embarrassment to shield & get KOed through the shield. Last week someone BMed me with a high horse power on my shadow Dragonite & then got me into 1 hp range before throwing again & I didn't bother shielding just because they'd already fully taken the piss & I didn't want it to be even worse if I shielded & still fainted lol

Recently caught a 14 14 13 pidgey from rocket grunts. I am not sure whether i should keep it as a shadow pokemon and power it up for the ultra league or purify it and run it with return. Any suggestions?

I’d personally purify, but I wouldn’t run return. A gbl content creator by the name of taffy star has a video showcasing that Pokémon. Very cool and interesting video, she makes really good content I’d recommend watching that video to see how return pidgeot would run.

QOTD: Of all the Normal types, Teddiursa. It should have enough coverage with Lick and Cross Chop to still benefit from Return. That is one lucky catch. Wanted to do the same thing, but my best one has been a 15/8/5. Oh and also fun fact: I still have not caught a shadow Snorunt.
