You were right, nobody foresaw that particular outcome! Round 1 was down to the wire with one of the best final stretches I've seen yet, and Round 4 even built upon it for something wild. The Black Flames and the Rune of Death showed their terrifying power in full force here, and man, imagine if the Godskinners had the Rune of Death effect before Maliketh defeated the Gloam-eyed Queen. Well, this terrain worked against the Black Knife AI, with those corners she could get trapped in for a bit. I'd be interested to see how this plays out in an Evergaol terrain.

You realize Alecto is just one of the three ringleaders, right? Based as her name is to the Greek Furies, (Alecto or Alekto = "endless anger"), we haven't yet seen her two co-leader sisters, Megaera ("jealous rage"), and Tisiphone or Tilphousia ("vengeful destruction").

I think the problem with Alecto here is that she kept letting him zone her into corner, which limited her range of movement and since he's famous for his aoe, even with the rune of death power she just sinple took way too many hits.

Both of these bosses annoyed the shit out of me. That particular godskin has the second most deaths of me next to Malenia. I probably died forty times trying to fight that joker at a super low level. Alecto I didn't try to get until my second playthrough and it was no cakewalk either.
