I love the flavor of Steamcleaner cleaning up sludge too. I don't know if that was intentional or not.

Funki, you could go that extra mile and add +2 dmg per sludge by incorporating either a audio amplifier for that 1 extra mana (tho it'll have to be very late game) or some sort of a coin generation like greedy partner. I noticed you go 5 mana for steamcleaner + 3 mana for silvermoon arcanist which leaves you with 2 mana, adding that 1 extra mana for reverberations to copy the arcanist would be really nice. Tho just a suggestion and I am sure you probably took your time tweaking this really good deck!

It's good in this shell, but generally useless everywhere else. If you're low on dust, I would advise against crafting it just for this and just open packs.

I had someone do this to me near the beginning of the expansion. It's a ton of damage.

Try it out w time tampering. Discard the sludge in hand shuffle the copies in hand then steam cleaner. Makes the furnace fuels more consistent as well.

for the card draw u can add the gaslight gatekeeper 3 mana minion that shuffles your hand in your deck and draws u that many cards

This deck is really fun! I replaced a few cards with 2x furnace fuel and 1x tome tampering. Not quite sure how effective it’ll be, but it seems like it should work with the deck.

Nice idea, but sadly it doesnt work well against plague dk... the shuffle effect of the plagues makes you draw the sludges which should stay bottom...very sad

but steamcleaner doesn't care where the sludges are, so you clean out the plages and do 3dmg per sludge.

There's a few different ways to build sludges and none have them have been that popular. There's a lot of players in this game and a lot of ideas so sometimes decks look similar to something else you might've seen but every deck list you see by me is made from scratch to be refined and tested as much as I can so my exact decklists are unique. Sometimes they're a little different, sometimes a lot but they're always different :)

A theorycraft deck is very different than one that's been tested and refined. Of course a lot of people had the idea for Sludges as soon as they were revealed but it takes work to put it in a functioning and smooth decklist like this.
