I think in this deck it makes sense, you want to keep drawing Zilliax to discount the giants and with the discover hero power you might eventually run out of actual cards to play. Decreasing the cost means you can play it quicker and draw it again.

Been trying the deck a bit, I don't see how you get 50% winrate. It's garbage tier. So many game where you don't see the giant or shaper until too late. And when you have them, many game where opponent just has removal and the game is over.

Because he is a much better player. 50% for him means 20% for the average gold tier player. Ressourge management is incredibly important here.
