Fun fact about the Laurent Chevalier in this deck: Enraged Firespitter is literally the only Challenger in Jhin's origin.. but what's more interesting is that there are zero in BC standard

For some reason, if a unit summons another unit, the created unit appears first. It actually is a somewhat common game mechanic.

Yeah i remember that in another card game (pvz heroes) but why tho? Like doesnt it make more sense for the summoner to happen first then the summon? Ig its human logic vs computer logic or smth

@@lucasleong8529 the problem comes from how the game implements its triggers and responses. The Fading Icon is summoned and it instantly summons the Prey, the game then lets other triggers happen and that's when Gift applies. It sees the Prey as the latest summon and applies its effect to it, when it really should be applied on the Icon.

Im in awe that LoR (Through the insanely good level-up art/animation) managed to somehow make Empyrean Vex, one of league's worst skins (Mainly due to how utterly creatively bankrupt it is, specially when compared to other skins from its time period) into something kinda hype. Again, showing off how amazing the LoR team is, and how much of a tragedy this whole situation has become

if it's not rotated i'd like to see Ahri/Katarina Deck also my idea for a boon could be "voidlings" when(if) they release Bel'Veth instead of chimes or portals she stacks "voidlings" on either your deck or the enemy deck if you want to be invasive whenever you draw a card with a voidling on it spawns one if you go for the "put them in enemy deck rout it spawns them on the opposite site or they have an upkeep as a demerit. if you spawn them for the enemys. Obviously bel'veths level up condition would be "seen voidlings hatch" x ammount she could also have a new consume function similar to "Fury/Dragon" and level multiple times like she does in regular league swapping forms dealing damage everytime she does similar to evelyn

I don’t think Eddy needs to be rotated, he should be nerfed/adapted a bit. Marshal wrote that you should behold eddy to get access to his boons, that would be perfect. Maybe you can also try to only get access to the defensive boons (deathless, tough…) when you have 2 copies of him in the deck and you get access to all boons when you have 3 copies of him in the deck…

DECK IDEA Thresh Asol control using realm of death to level thresh and deal a free attack with asol to the nexus as a bonus

I just read thresh Asol and builder it by myself, it’s so freaking funny :D I play a few cards which give additional units on summon and cleave them (or use new Story landmark which produces a 1/1 unit) when I drop thresh :D it’s so funny :D rest of the deck is vengeance/sunburst/celestial impact and a few sac your unit to deal dmg/draw

But no realm of the death, it’s nice in the first round you attack with thresh but it’s a dead card after that :) still trying to find an angle where I soul cleave a levelled thresh :D don’t know if it works

Yeah tbh more than 2 copies are hard to justify, but ruination type cards in this meta are really good I think and if it goes through it’s pretty much 10 spell mana ruination + summon Asol, and it’s really difficult for the opp to come back after that. Also you can use only 1 copy of asol and then 2 copies of haunted tomb to revive asol for 2 mana while also being useful early to revive your units. Btw could you post your deck code?? I’m super curious on your take on the deck

@@xadadax5014 i will test it, i didn’t think about the instant level up with thresh (does it work like that? Are the units dying first and then he attacks?). But if he attacks first and then everyone dies you don’t get the attack trigger 😅 It was fun to play, but it was turbo weak :D I switched to a build where I cleave the blue sentinel, that was hilarious (also weak, but funny), I got my Asol turn 6 on the board :D

It counts as a “skill” which is exempt from the fast and slow speed restriction applied to spells

@@ryanruler9933 skills are supposed to be placed on the stack and the opponent can react to it. This is even written on the story effect card when you hover the skill icon. But when you hover the focus icon it says it resolve instantly. These are two contradictory informations. Since the card behaved exactly like a focus spell, it should not count as a skill. Or it could be a focus effect that place the skill onto the stack, and you can play other cards prior passing priority, but here this a focus skill, this is so weird and doesn't behaves as written on the card and it adds yet even more inconsistency in the game rules. I am pretty sure it works as intended What I meant is that I believe it should not work like that

Oh yeah, PvP exists. I don't think I could return to PvP ever again. Compared to the crazy stuff that can happen in Path of Champions PvP would probably feel very bland and boring to me now, haha.

Honestly for me it’s the opposite! I know it’s weird, but in poc cards feel way less impactful (since the power ceiling, and thus the power expectation, are both so higher) but in pvp, singular cards feel so much stronger (and also that higher cost cards are also playable), like getting off a combo of chemist on 1 (which summons a landmark which damages the nexus in 4) and then getting to transform my terrordactal feel really nice, y’know?
