Nobody should be allowed to become an MP unless they have worked in a real job in the private sector for a minimum of 10 years, far too many of them at present are useless lawyers, ex public sector workers, ex union members all of them with no real skills or knowledge of working in the real world, until that is done we will continue having low calibre self serving MPs completely clueless on how to improve this country.

At the moment Reform have just under 190,000 paid up members, and rising. Conservatives have 130,000 members. The conservatives figure is debatable because it goes back to before a third of their members cancelled their membership. What we need is the people who didn't bother to vote last time to get out and vote. It needs to start in May with the local elections that labour are trying to stop.

That's the least of our worries. Starmer is out to push anything through because of his majority in Parliament. Some of it quite ridiculas like the budget. The banking bill is to be discussed Monday . Giving the government the rights to check your accounts, how you spend even withdraw if they need to. It's an abuse of power. Opposition MPs must contest strongly cos its getting like a dictatorship each day.

The scientists don't all agree. We in the UK have reduced our emissions by 50% since 1990, this despite the increase in car owner ship, population and economy. The ozone hole that was used to terrify us in the 80s has now all but closed over. No question we do need to reduce pollution globally but this UK govt Net Zero mania makes absolutely no sense!
