Android App : parikh.club/pr...
IOS App : parikh.club/pr... In this video, I have discussed with Striver about harsh reality about being a software engineer which nobody is talking about.
Every profession has its bright and dark side. And we have discussed important points in this video :
1. What to do if we don't get higher salary packages in starting?
2. Should we switch jobs to get higher packages or stick at one place?
3. Shoud we do Work From Home or Work From Office?
4. Should we go international for higher packages or stay in India? How to handle peer pressure?
5. What If I Am not enjoying work at current company?
6. Lesson for all software engineers.
Striver, as we all know is currently a Software Engineer at Google and has previous experience of working at companies like Amazon, Directi. He also has a strong community named - TakeUForward. (takeuforward.org/)

Work from home is best if team is toxic or teammates are lazy/no aptitude for coding. otherwise teammates will keep bugging the smart person to teach even simple concepts. and of course can cook food by ourselves , more mental peace for sure. Work from office ensures disciple in a way , social life if people are good around in office and smart people for growth , and good project is there then work from office is worth it. but unfortunately manager/teammates are toxic/dumb and irritating , then work from office is just a loss of mental peace and time if project is mediocre.

Yes I also faced the same problem that staying away from family was worst descision i ever took . It affected my health badly Because one thing is the food And other thing our company was wfo plus they wanted us to have meetings with us team members at 12pm ist which caused me a lot stress and affected my liver also And i am not getting remote job just because I was having higher package and new company can't afford me the same and higher package
