@@jfloresmac Under the video she tagged the location as Cayos Cochinos, and she mentions that she's overnighting it at Cayo Chachahuate which is part of the tiny Cochinos arquipelago. Not sure of the name of the tiny island she visited. On Google maps I see a couple that look like it just west of Chachahuate.
@jfloresmac2 жыл бұрын
@@stonew1927 Yup. In the 80s I lived in la Ceiba, the port town from where she took the big ferry. I used to go regularly to cayos cochinos on small boats or airplanes (there used to be the bumpiest short airstrip on Cayo Menor). There were some nice houses and i used to stay at one. There's still houses but new development and construction is prohibited. One of the houses was a US WW2 pilot, where I stayed was a steel tycoon from Alabama. Some celebrities have stayed there in another house (Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake and others, they say. The house is for sale for $2 m last time i checked but its an ugly house. What you buy is the scenery) There used to be a nice small hotel called Plantation Beach Resort, I don't know if it still operates in the "Cayo Grande" (Chachahuate is a small island) and there used to be a fisherman's village called East End but I think they were evicted to Chachahuate for conservation issues. Cayo Corazón has appeared in several commercials. The Bay Islands and Cayos Cochinos have a great history.(Brit'ish territory until the early 1800s?) I used to live in Roatan too, for about a year and did some underwater camera filming tourists and other things. You should come for a visit, amigo! Saludos Ps, some locals may not even know the name of such a small island. And remember, if you come to the Bay Islands, get in the water! Snorkel, dive and swim. The water is always a nice temp.

Roatan is surrounded by the second largest barrier reef in the world (the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef) after Australia's Great Barrier Reef. Noraly, I just have to ramble about how great this episode is, truly unsurpassed. So I’ll start: you’re the best part and your magical smile and sense of adventure has has no bounds. The production value of this episode is off the chart! Your editing, choice of music, camera angles, drone footage, all cinema quality. Riding on those deeply rain rutted roads is super difficult and you make it look easy. Being daring enough to share the moment with us while you were getting your Dutch groove on to some island jams made us all feel that much closer to the adventure. The fact that you continue this level of production episode after episode by yourself with very little equipment resources from the middle of nowhere is truly amazing in and of itself. For laundry, two tips. You can use a river runner's medium sized "dry bag" to load with clothing & soapy water, OR use any sink, tub, or 5 gallon bucket with a "plumber's helper" [toilet plunger] to get your stuff just super clean! The toilet plunger costs about $3 and does a superior job. The handle can be unscrewed for transport and storage. The plain old fashioned red rubber unit is the best kind. Available at any household goods or hardware store. Easily replaceable, too.

And the Oscar goes to Noraly. Another knock-it out of the ballpark video! Again, the drone footage really emphasizes all the natural beauty that is Honduras. Spectacular. You are living the dream for so many of us.

She makes the most stunning drone images with beautiful sound, no mater of terrible tracks and salt damage of her precious equipment. And all that for us to enjoy. Even thou she never lost her good mood. Thanks so much Noraly.

What a lovely video. A few things struck me today- you have escaped all the torrential rains which washed away all those dirt roads you rode on. You must have a weather genie following you around! There was a real holiday atmosphere to this video-- great to see you enjoying the sunshine, the food, all the delights the islands had to offer. Lord knows, you need some time to enjoy yourself after some of the adventures of the last few weeks. Fantastic drone photography, editing and music as always. Incidentally, isn't music wonderful the world over? A universal language, enjoyed by all. (and you got to dance too....) Hard to imagine a world without music..or Itchy Boots.......... a wonderful antidote for a wet and windy day here in Ireland.

I've got no words, other than these: If you're reading the comments to find out whether this is the channel for you, just watch this video. It's the epitome of ItchyBoots. It has everything in it: riding, interaction, the most beautiful nature & drone footage, food, music all edited with the utmost attention to detail and finesse. From an annoying recommendation she became one of only two channels I ALWAYS see every video of. And I can recommend seeing her first videos as well.
