My great grandma has dementia. When I was staying at the hospital with her, she was in such a bad place mentally. One day, I got a nose bleed, and she immediately started babying me. (Im 32 lol) She was in a great mood the rest of the day. I realized she felt good knowing she was needed again. I use it as a tool to brighten her day when I visit. This song made me think of that moment, thank you Chester!!

Awww. I love this. My Mom had dementia. I would tell her the same stories over and answered her questions like it was the first time she asked me. One crazy thing my Mom was a singer and would sing in her younger years. Then when dementia got bad she started to sing again She remembered lyrics to so many songs. I couldn’t even do that. 🎤🩷🙏🙏🙏

I have dogs, a cat, chickens and a huge garden that needs me BUT a man, a love, friend and partner.... I'm not needed. I guess I filled the void with my animals and garden. It's sad... Thinking I might die alone, yes I have my grown kids and elderly mom but a partner, I can hope someday.

Can you imagine a situation that there is no alarmclock in the morning, each one gets up on his or her own time, makes his or her own breakfast, coffee or tea doesn't matter, takes his own time, can have flaws, with peace in the house not expecting anything from the other person. But.... both are not alone. Living together in the same chemistry and flow, but doing their own things. No expectations. It's hard to accomplish.

I was hoping to see when I subscribed to you but I couldn't find it but I remember listening to a bunch of your old songs and that I was introduced to you by the song Nice Guys and damn... 13 years ago, crazy how much time has gone by and glad to see your back making music on youtube again. Hell I still remember watching the internet icon and loving it, you made that show so much better, Mathias was great and I still watch a bunch of his content to this day and great to see how well he's done.
