I cannot get that g chord on the acoustic to sound right. I think i am playing it the same way you are at 3:40 but am not completely sure. Is there any way you can help me out? It would help a lot

this is great. question the key seems to be in E major, but are you soloing in E minor?

If you are playing in E, but you want to solo with a bluesy style, a great way to do it is to play the minor pentatonic scale (E minor pentatonic) over the chord progression.

I'm curious how you'd have "light" phaser. I have a Phase 90. There's timing on the knob but it really takes over when you turn it on.

Set it before your overdrive for a more subtle phase sound

@@Coltreign Great timing because I just got my first O/D pedal! 😂😂 Before that I was just setting the gain higher on my amp and volume accordingly. Although, I have sense broke my Phase 90.

@@JJohnston4Life Also the MXR has the script logo version which is actually more mellow. To give you that Pink Floyd phase sound, the block logo has a little more of a volume boost when set after your gain stages. Stapleton uses a EHX Small Stone which can be a little more on the mellow side to get his tone too.
