A self burn build sounds like a cool idea! You may have gotten baited by Pierre. Monitor lizard is meta, and you need a bunch of quick damage (within 10 seconds or so) or a bunch of health. While it's true there are always builds which can counter yours, it seems to me consistency is possible. That's what it seems like to me, at least!

I agree with the consistency argument. Imo in this case it would support my decisions as monitor lizard is less likely to appear than shield/burn/double core or any variation of a ray build ^^. But I do agree that pierre wasn’t as impactful as I expected. The main criticism I would give myself is that I should have considered putting the combat core all the way to the right because of the shield skill buying me time. That would have upped the consistency of my build.

You had cooling fan and jetpack in the same shop, could reduce the cooldown of an item and proc the 50% reduction from the fan with self burn. Not sure if better than ditching a ray or aiden though. 🤷🏻‍♂️ PS: Sparring partner is hilarious, he’s totally paying out for his punishment kink 😂

It might have been better indeed. Was a tough call, wasn’t even sure if cooling fan would remain on the board at the time as well.

@ I wonder if a build with cooling fan, gpu, jetpack and pyrocarbon with combat core (ditch the core core) with some other accoutrement slotted accordingly for damage/shield would be viable. Basically get a 1.something CD combat core.

Maybe it was right to go full damage? I have no clue, there is a good amount of build diversity right now which makes shot calling difficult. You made the right calls as far as I could tell

Yeah with perfect hindsight it was better for the last fight. Too hard to choose while playing since it could’ve been burn/shield dooley instead of giga poison ^^

pierre conditioner is junk item. 1 second freeze on 5 second cooldown item is pretty bad even when 2 cores trigger it. it's only good on friends core because friend core hastes itself so like 6 second core is 3 second core and with all items being on right. it charges itself so it is like 1 second or less cooldown item. weapon core is all about damage and burst damage scaling. Permanent haste is most important aspect for weapon core because it controls how well core scales itself. The other thing is your build is missing Cool LED. What you needed to have as items is Cool Led+First aiden. Not Pierre. The enchantment for slow kinda "fixes" your build if you put slow on first aiden however first aiden got nerfed on trigger item effect so it is less good. To make Pierre playable, you'd need to get snowflake. maybe even 2 snowflakes.
