Bruce Anderson will leave Livingston this summer but he has insisted that Livingston will not leave him.
The striker will be forever grateful for the chance the club gave him to revive his career after he had felt the cold shoulder of being deemed surplus to requirements at various clubs.
Before moving to Livvy at 22, Anderson had had spells with Elgin City, Dunfermline, Ayr United and Hamilton, pitstops that came via loan deals from Aberdeen.
“Nobody wanted me,” he said. “Then I spoke to the manager [David Martindale] and he said ‘I want you, you’re going to be my number nine.’
‘I’ve got a lot to be thankful for, a lot to thank the club for and I’ll be gutted when I leave.”
