I love that you at least try to save so many pieces that others wouldn't and the skill you demonstrate restoring the unrestorable!

Thank you Sir for your great videos. I had a Seiko NH35 with a scratch on the rotor, and the watch has a see-through case back. I removed it and used your technique by putting new straight grain on it using an abrasive pad on a block of wood. Looks great now and is back on and working great. I'm learning from the master!💚

Hello Because I ❤ your channels. I remember the black super oris. I bought a 671 kif. Inspired by you I restored it which took months to learn this calibre. I have now sold it online. Now I am doing this full-time. Because of your videos. I love my new career. Love from Lancashire

Lovely work Joe, please make a series about this one, or the process of restoring parts. There's so much out there that needs help to bring it back to life, and so few Nekkid Watchmakers left: your expertise and passion are a lesson to us all, and this is a great way to ensure your legacy perpetuates. We are all apprentices. Thanks Joe.

That before picture was just all kinds of nasty. Incredible refinishing, and hope to see the full restoration. I can't imagine letting a watch get into this condition, particularly with a rare movement. So glad you're saving this one.

Wow. That one has had a hard, hard life. Good call on restoring the rotor. The rotor will necessarily have somewhat looser tolerances than other parts just because it has to clear so many other parts and bridges.

Hi Joe, greetings from Australia. You may remember me from some lessons I imparted some lessons in restoring watches ie WD40 and 20/50 engine oil. This brings me to my point today. Although perfectly capable my methods are well proved, I would like to give you the chance to work your magic on my long gone grandmother's watch that is I believe over a 100 years old. It gold and I was told it might be an early Rolex movement. I could think of no one better to do this restoration, I would be truly honoured if you were to take this on..... please From Oz with love.
