(From France) My father had in the sixties what was probably the last Duesenberg outside USA. A rather bland sedan by Franay, bought for the equivalent of $150 from a schoolteacher who used it to go fishing on Sunday. It took service for the marriage of my sister in spite of its ferocious apetite for gas. Myself, I have found at the flea market a set of rev counter and speedo from a J. The maxi on the drum was hidden but I could see by looking obliquely that it was not 140 but 240 km/h ! I have also met a car breaker who was offering a radiator shell for this type of car. That was fifty years ago.

Look like a project for Jay Leno to tackle. It may be a million dollar car but you'll put more than that into it to make it right. Why no engine sot?

The people who owned the car in the garage. How much did they get for their car? I don't care how much people say what its worth, but how much did the the original owner actually get paid for it?

Do you honestly think they'd ever tell you that information? 😏
