I share this sentiment. Fusion Resorts & Villas, even with the further location, would be a simple choice, by comparison.

I would definitely live there and I was ready to sign BUT until you mention the 10 year thing hummmm I don't know about that.

Agreed. What a trip that was to hear. A Nobu timeshare?! No thanks. 😂 Especially since there so much undeveloped land along the beach. Even next door! In 10 years, there will be newer, nicer buildings. Won’t want to move in, at that point.

You're telling me. 😂 Not a chance just so I can say I live at Nobu. I could do a 10-year rental for $120k and put $540k in a money market account drawing 5% and make $270k on the low, plus compound interest.

Why would anyone invest in such a project is beyond me...if they would guarantee 6% for 10 year's you can't live there, then it might be a good idea

Couldn’t agree more. Not how I envision buying a property. However, a well-informed Vietnamese friend of mine says he was not told of the 10-year requirement, instead saying he could move in once the property was completed. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@BudCowmen vietnamese law is not clear-cut when it comes to foreigner ownership. As long as renting is cheaper than owning there's no reason to buy especially with no long-term visas.

@@yamuiemata This 100x. I really see no reason to buy, at this point. Rent is affordable, relative to your currency. And there is plenty of availability. And, of course, the lack of long-term visa, as you have mentioned.
