when you listen to minhyuk and hyungwon here and compare to now, you can see how much they have improved vocally. they both have such a larger vocal range than when they were training. Minhyuk and hyungwon were struggling a bit here to hit the right pitches but if they were to sing this now, theyd have no problems i bet

JYP is always complaining about his trainees but then when he sees that his ex-trainees are successful outside of JYP he starts saying that it was a shame of letting them go. I'm talking about the artists that have been successful. He never said anything about Hani until her fancam went viral and then all of a sudden he was saying how he wishes he kept Hani. He cut Shownu despite him being the best trainee there, said Shownu was a slacker. Personally I prefer this song better than Giriboy's. But... For trainees, this song was too hard to handle. Like... I've been a fan of Nochang for a quite long time and this is a song that HE could sing. But anyway, it still sounds better than other team(Ignoring fact that some vocal parts were pretty weak and that Yoonho forgot his lyrics), it was really basic. Well, this is just my opinion.

I just finished No.Mercy and i've spent all of my tears to each one of them. But now until Minhyuk debuted with Monsta X i still feel sorry for him. People doesn't give him enough appreciation for his talent. Look at this performance. He killed it after he sang his second part. I think it slightly higher right then it has to be? Yes, i don't know much about music but i think it is slightly higher. He needs to get more powerful line like this one. And i think he needs to practice in singing more powerful lines even more. Coz he can do it. Minhyuk-a you can do it. Keep practicing and i'm sure you'll get more lines and i can listen to your beautiful voice a lot more. Fighting! Saranghae~! Himnaeseyoo~! i watched the mv before watching the performances so at first i thought maybe giriboy's team was really that much stronger. but then at some points while watching this i kinda realized perhaps it was the song that determined the outcome. like some people have pointed out the structure of this song isn't as good as the other, but its not like the trainees got to pick the song. the other team wasn't all that good either - wonho barely featured and there was more jooyoung than anyone else (love jooyoung but he isnt even one of the contestants). poor yoonho really, perhaps the nerves really got the better of him.

Angel N. yeah, they even pranked yoonho just to get laughs out of him. changkyun's addition to the show gave all of them a rough time, even for changkyun himself since a lot of them didn't like him that much because of kwangji's recent elimination- they felt like eliminating a rapper only to add another one was a bit off-putting. it was especially difficult for yoonho who was the rapper with the same age as changkyun. he was struggling with his abilities and got distracted by that. but, i'm glad everything is going well for everyone now, mx is so fun to watch and they're so full of talent & AM I HELLA HAPPY THAT YOONHO FINALLY DEBUTED ♡ EVERYONE PLS LOVE HIM

This show is flawed because : a) Despite being centered around 'hiphop', it was very obvious they preferred more commercial hiphop rather than hardcore hiphop. b) They (the company) didn't analyse the trainees from every angle. They pretty much did whatever they wanted and cut whoever they disliked regardless of their skill. Take this episode for example. Yoonho was eliminated . One reason could be because he messed up. BUT: That isn't enough to justify this team's loss in this episode because nochang allowed them to perform as a team of 5. Vasco and Junggigo were mostly just featuring artists over here while the other team had Jooyoung carrying the vocals and Giriboy/Madclown supporting the rap/chorus throughout the song. Even though Minhyuk/Hyungwon clearly lack vocal skills, the fact is they were on their own. At the very least they should be commended for their effort. The point is , there was an imbalance and no one pointed it out because this show is so broken. And GUN is a much better rapper than a lot of people out there . Starship's biggest mistake was not including him in monsta x. Oh well it is their loss. Gunhee will eventually find success as a rapper.

Everyone is all for #Gun but honestly, I agreed with Madclown. He goes off beat and kinda does what he wants to. Jooheon is an obvious pick, Yoonho just lacked confidence when he rapped, it's like he couldn't ever find his comfort zone in style, and I.M is much more stable (as seen in the performance of Young).

Agree. Yonho is just need more time to practice and find his confident. He's just not stable in performing. Look at him forgetting the line. Gosh. It's a competition. I even prefer Kwangji than him. I just finished watching No.Mercy anyway. Just got into MONSTA X and need to know more about them.

Have people seen the teamwork between #Gun and JooHeon?! It would be INSANE to split them up. They are the center of the team, the two who HAVE to be on it. Then they can fill the other 5 spots however they want to. All I know is that #Gun is invaluable.
