I think old music sounds good because in the new stuff it's all changing your voice and stuff, but back then it was just age old music. No reverb, no sound effects, just instruments and pure singing. It also stands out because of the grainy sound of the recording like if you were listening to this in an attic of an old house on a gramophone.
