I have both the 2 & 5 pin nock on sights. They are awesome! Thinking about adding a light to it.

Another thing to consider when deciding whether to go with a direct connect or dove tail is that the dove tail is a design feature used for long distance target shooting. The further out it is the more magnification you get. However the further out it is the less forgiving it is on shooter error. Also, the dove tail has a larger frame which requires you to stick your quiver out further from the bow which DOES throw the balance and center of gravity off on your bow. Can all of this be mitigated? Obviously. But every little bit counts and something worth considering.

My groups and scores have gone way up since I switched over to Fast Eddie. I have the standard Fast Eddie on my NXT, and the XL on my Xpedite. I like to keep the sight picture the same between both bows and couldn’t do that without the long dovetail on the XL. I cut the tape a little longer and used a permanent marker to go out to 110, and 120 yards. Not a big deal to do. Great review- it was “Spot On”.

I’m shooting 70lbs with 28 DL and some how end up with #12 tape. I can only dial it down to 70 before arrow vanes hitting the housing. Can’t even get to 100 then the arrow can’t even raise up. What your draw weight and length? Any advice?

I'm a 28.5" DL, 72# shooting a #26 tape. If you setup the sight how I describe in the video you should have plenty of clearance unless you are running a 700 grain arrow.

14:15 u mention that u move the housing up and down, will this affect any of the axis. my arrows arecoming really close to the scope at longer ranges and i want to raise the sight for more arrow clearance. but im unsure if it will affect the axis.

Great review. From your experience, how is the pin brightness on the FE in moderate to low light? I have heard mixed reviews.

Better than most especially with .019 pins. .010 I tend to lose the fiber with every sight on bad light.

So! I am just recovered from shoulder surgery. Bought a new nexus 2 and put this exact sight on there. Anyway royally behind this year as I was just cleared to shoot. I am trying to get my yardage tape shot in, and I was working back to 60 yrds, and at 40 i am almost on top of my arrow. I have moved the sight housing up all the way up and all the way down and it does not seem to help. This bow had its limb swapped for 40-50 lb limbs coming off surgery and I worked up to 50lbs for this year with a 600 grain arrow. Any how does anyone have a clue what my issue maybe? Spott Hogg not getting back to me . Not first single pin but first spott hogg.

Hey Daniel, unfortunate I think 600 grains is just too much weight for a 50# bow especially if you have an average or shorter draw length. Unless you are going after bison, I would try a lighter setup and a good cut on contact head.

Been looking places to change the color of the pointer on my fast Eddie where did you get that green one!? And do they have the inside of the wheel also? I know you have the kota one

The pointer is part of the Nock On package and the decal we have on the website.

I emailed and asked about the sight tapes and they said right now they are trying to keep up with just the sights but they aren’t sure if they will offer them stand alone in the future or not.

Knights of the Apex question about the regular Fast Eddie, what is the distance of the right bar from the front of the riser? I’m debating between the regular and the XL, I like the adjustability if the XL but currently only run a 4” dovetail so the regular one might do what I need just perfect.

I don't have one on hand to measure exactly but the regular should put you pretty close to 4" based on the fact the wheel is 2" and they give you about an extra inch on either side of that on that standard model

I was once told that regardless of bow... always buy the best sight that you can and arrow rest. That way as you progress in your archery journey... you just take off your gear and put it on your new bow. What are your thoughts on this? Love the content. Birthday in a few days, just got over colon cancer and have a new perspective, especially as a disabled vet as well.... time to do the things on my bucket list.... Archery/Hunting!

Congrats on the birthday and overcoming cancer! That is incredible. And I agree with that sentiment wholeheartedly. Bow's tend to change more than accessories. A good rest and sight will last you a long time. I would compare it to a good scope on top of a budget rifle. Good glass will allow you to get the most out of that rifle. But the best rifle with bad glass will only get you so far. Same goes for bow sights and arrow rests.

@@KnightsoftheApex Outstanding... Thank you. Most likely will pick this site up as I love the dial as it reminds me of adjusting the dope on iron sights. Have a question... when aiming your bow do you keep the target clear and site pin blurred or vice versa like I was taught with iron sights? Again... love your content.

@@ChristKrew-Rev1.8 Thanks really appreciate that! So I might be different than some people but personally I transition my focus down the tunnel. So I blur my peep but hard focus my sight for a second while I line things up and check my bubble, then will start to focus more on my target blurring the pin and letting it float over the target. If the animals moves or something happens I will go through that process again making sure my sights are aligned and bubble is level before pulling through the shot.
