I have it frequently. So glad you made this video. My wife asked “Do you actually like shooting the bow?” I do, but not when I can’t figure out why my shot isn’t working!

Tell me about frustration: two weeks ago I had my first team shooting (recurve) and during the elimination round my upper nock point departed from my string. Made it difficult for me to release the arrow in a half-way controlled manner. Let to early elimination of my team. Bad feeling on my side as you can imagine. Was a nice reminder that for me archery might be better a solo-sport as I don’t like to be the success limit for a team that way. As solo shooter I only need to blame myself. And that one is a bit easier to manage, I think.

I actually laughed out loud. Hunting with a bow for me has been an emotional roller-coaster over the years. I tell people I do it because I love it, you have to. The blown stalks, the animals just out of range the long waits. There's not much to like sometimes but I love it
@nockonarchery2 жыл бұрын
It can definitely be a roller coaster ride but once you have experienced it, it does become such a passion!

A couple years back I left a three D shootdown frustrated. Told myself I'd never shoot another command shot and I'd work to incorporate your system of pulling the elbow toward a wall behind me. I'm less frustrated shooting and a heck of a lot better. Shot eight up on a challenging course two days ago. I watch all your productions and credit you for my improvements. Dud, you are helpful and I appreciate it more than you know. Thanks. You are a great coach.

TAC Michigan in the morning. Took the day off work to shoot with my wife and son. I could miss every target and still have a great day. But thanks for the pep talk.

I shot a 3d this past weekend. Broke 3 and lost 2. It happens. I have learned from you that your best shot is your next shot. I always try and focus on the shot process you have explained and put the anger in the quiver. I don’t shoot x’s cause they make me feel good, but I sure try😉thanks for yet another great video!

Watching this at 4am after the most frustrating shoot yesterday in a competition and now low on confidence (my worst session by quite some distance in my eight months of archery).

We need to check the synchronization when it arrives like this .The lower block comes later, the arrow flies higher, that's all. .

What type of arrows are you using I’m looking for the four fletched kind
@nockonarchery2 жыл бұрын
I use both the Nock On Signature Easton Axis and FMJ arrows that you can find at nockonarchery.com. We do offer pre-fletch so they come to you cut, fletched and ready to go. Good luck!

Golfers have a similar choke condition known as the YIPS... dare I even say the word. Playing well the real potential to shoot a personal best ...but, the gimme putts stop going automatically in as usual. What should be a one putt becomes two and what be two becomes three putting. I know this from personally and it destroyed my confidence and even the love of the game for time. The better the golfer the bigger the toll it takes. A good golfer should make most of their makable putts
