Yeah, I had some fun with the game for like a week until all of my armor and weapons were walled off and I had to pay like $20 USD to get them back.

Warface seemed like a good game at first... After the first 100 hours or so I ended up quitting the game. Most items cost money and a large amount of progression feels like it is separated by a large paywall. The repair system completely depletes any cash (ingame currency, not actual money) you have over time, so having good equipment that you spent time grinding for is ultimately useless since you cannot physically keep up with spending constant cash, you are forced into a position where you are forced to use horrible items. The rates at which you earn cash is so slow that it basically forces players to buy cash boosters in order to keep up with the large amount of cash being spent, which guess what, costs money. And most microtransactions only provide benefit for a short duration but the benefits you gain is so significant that the game is basically P2W in PvP, most people using recoilless rifles. Some weapons can be permanently obtained with money, of which are insanely strong in PvE. Temporary weapons dont have any cash cost as well, basically promoting players to use them over other weapons, and permanent weapons bought with money have lower cash costs for repairs than that of normal weapons. It's predatory as hell. "Well what if you just play the PvE only? Youll avoid all the P2W content in PvP" would be a valid question if progression didnt require you to play PvE AND PvP to unlock stuff, combine that with finding PvE lobbies basically being as difficult as finding a needle in a haystack. And even then it still is ignoring the fact that P2W PvE weapons still do exist, and at certain levels, they are heavily enforced since enemies become tanky as hell and hit like a truck. If you happen to play on PC, this game also has a huge issue with cheaters, which you might say "Well all games have cheaters!" which is a valid argument except that the cheater issue within the game is WORSE than old COD: Warzone. Furthermore because of the anti-cheat used and how deeply rooted it is into your computer, hackers can often use it for remote access to certain things on your computer due to an exploit that existed a few years back. The devs, being the greedy MFs they are, stated that they would fix it... They have not. The game has it's charm early on, but it doesnt take long at all to realize how much of a cash grab the game is, and how malicious it is with it's microtransactions (including loot crates with awful % rates to encourage maximum spending). It's fucking horrible, coming from experience, I would NOT recommend anyone to play this game.

Well, its somewhat improved, leveling up system become way better, now you don't have to have premium to advance, and the rewards acctualy worth to get, i am now having half the Spectre armor sets, all attachments, all free weapons, man the Gepard GM6 Lynx is an uber chad sniper, and the battlepasses acctually gives the main armor free, all you need to just complete not even hard objectives and you have it, you can do the same with some of the weapons but its depends on the BP in the first place, overall Warface has improved in the last few months and now you can advance without paying that much, the real shame is people avoids the PvE and Spec Ops missions, dunno why, they are way more fun, less frustrating and more way more rewarding than PvP matches.
