Noctowl actually has surprisingly solid special bulk. I remember completely shutting down an Aegislash with it once back in ORAS. It could eat Flash Cannons for days and just chill out.

Noctowl has decent special bulk, a nice movepool, and Tinted Lens. He's got the tools to win, just needs a trainer who can use him properly. Great battle. Also, Dusknoir is an underrated threat.

I love using noctowl. Special bulk goes crazy but struggles with physical attacks. I use it on my baton pass team to stack some stock piles onto it and pass it to noctowl with leftovers. Works well hyper voice does great and I use it with nasty plot. I also have it as a fairy tera for that moonblast damage

Your opponent made a few misplays. When they used Ditto to switch in on the Arbock they should’ve used either the dragon move or Gunk Shot, if their Garganacle knew stealth Rocks it should’ve used it and at the end with Dusknoir they should’ve gone for Poltergeist
