Frederic Chopin was a genius and probably listened to many interpreters of his compositions from heaven. He probably ignored the bad and mediocre ones right away. But he certainly followed the ingenious interpretations and improvisations of his pieces with great interest. This includes the version of Nocturne in F minor interpreted by Peter Beets. I wish that God would grant Frederic Chopin 3 weeks vacation on earth to play on two grand pianos with Peter Beets on a world tour.

I saw Peter Beets perform this with the Kaunas Big Band in Vilnius last night 12/2/2020. Very good work, the progressions from Peter and the band and how they controlled the crowd was really something. I will be going to Holland at the end of the month and I hope I can catch him there performing. Recommended for all the jazz fans as the marriage of Classical with Jazz is so very good, I might even say as good as with the great Eugen Cicero
