Got mine two weeks ago. Love it. I play a lot of stray cats. This pedal is perfect.

I watched this demo so I could finally put the much ballyhooed "mystery brain" out of my mind once and for all. Dammit, now I have to have one. My wife is going to kill me.

Hello Tavo I'd like to see a video on how to place pedals in between the preamp and the echo. Thanks.

Can I kindly ask how you connect an overdrive in the loop of the pedal
@tavotheflatblackthrillers35002 ай бұрын
ya sure. using a stereo 1/4" cable that splits to dual mono 1/4" (listed at the bottom of the product page) one side is send, the other is return.

How do you set it up? New to the pedal game. I have the adapter but what are the cables used on top?
@beerbilly4 жыл бұрын
cables on top are in and out.

Do I need the special TRS-V cable?
@beerbilly4 жыл бұрын
Nathaniel Hintz to use the fx send return jack you need a trs 1/4” to dual mono 1/4”. links to bothe econo and booteek versions of this cable on my webpage

So what is the difference between this and the dynobrain ? So confused
@beerbilly3 жыл бұрын
Dynobrain is the basic stripped down preamp alone. The Mysterybrain adds tape echo & vibrato to help create a stompbox version of the Re301 roland Space Echo unit

It's arrived. Temperature is in the high nineties here in England. I'm in my garage sweltering. The pedal is awesome... I may die of dehydration but I'm not leaving until my fingers bleed! Thanks TAVO!

Out of curiosity, why dime the treble and zero the bass on the amp?
@greatwhite36764 жыл бұрын
I dont own this amp but on many of the old Marshalls and Supros I have owned thats how i always ran them. As you crank them the low end gets farty I believe this based on a bassman type circuit which is an American JTM45. Or the Gibson EH either way a darker amp. Low end flub is the enemy of good tone to me.

@@greatwhite3676 thanks for answering (and for original poster for asking) I wondered about that too.

Are there any stores where I can try a few of these pedals?
@beerbilly5 жыл бұрын
Hi Kev, I still build per order and sell online. Never been in a store other than Nashville's Guitar center some 8 yrs ago briefly.

That does not sound like 50s slapback Echo sorry
@tavotheflatblackthrillers35002 ай бұрын
Its not based on anything from the 50s. Its based on a 1979 Roland Space Echo. :) BUT!!.. there is an echoplex preamp on the wetside of the slapback.. there is a trimpot to boost or cut that preamp. Also internally there is a presence cut switch to warm up the pedal more. versatility is its middle name
