Tonex ONE - Software overview with some TIPs (getting started)

The fact that there is not a live editor for the Tonex Pedal or the Tonex One is criminal. I really enjoy the sound of the Tonex Pedal and Tonex One... but boy do I not enjoy anything else about the ecosystem. I am a long time Fractal user and I find that the Tonex is so frustrating. I find the Fractalverse quit easy and logical. I had my wife turning knobs for me while I played ( real cabs in stereo) so that could hear it from the position I wanted. She was not amused. I dial in presets as you do with an interface & the Tonex software into power amp into cabs & then download those presets to the pedals. Cumbersome for the lazy guitarist. Thanks for the video.

thanks, and yeah the software is certainly frustrating to get to grips with at the start, the live editor thing (which is logical after all on all other units) certainly doesn't help things at all and add to that multiple layers to something that is actually in theory relatively straight forward (Tone model + effects) and it's a bit of a mess to be honest i'd welcome some kind of overhaul to the UI and interface, but it looks like it's staying, it's a really good backup in any case to my FM3 which is why i bought it to begin with

@@paulbradshawguitar When I am feeling froggy I run the Tonex into the Fractal for something different. It is an amazing time for guitar equipment & I know we are all spoiled. LOL

I still don't get it😂 It's the worst software I've ever seen in my entire life. Yet the pedal is excellent.

@@simonpyza5270 yeah, it's a real shame that a solid bit of hardware can be so marred by the software experience
