Don't remember Noddy ever being in cartoon format at all. Watched the UK 70s stop motion tv show religiously, even caught the 60s string puppet version at some point and I even had a Burbank Toys pull string talking Noddy as a child (he unfortunately got lost with my talking Rupert Bear years ago but I still have my pull string Andy Pandy and Orinocho Womble) lol! I believe the voice of the Judge is Derek Guylar the famous British comedy actor who played the policeman on the TV show Sykes along with Erick Sykes and Good old Hattie Jaques. Definitely sounds like him.

Our father (Arthur Humberstone) produced and animated this film which was intended as a pilot for a series. For many reasons the option to make a series was never taken up and the pilot was shelved. There's a great story behind it all which hopefully will get told one day.
