Man, I never quite realized how carefully edited Node's videos were until D took a backseat from the channel. What happened to color coded boxes for each player? I also now understand why photos of the players were used a lot more in place of face cams on the sides in the past - it helped you focus on the gameplay. Which would help here....if it didn't cut every 2 seconds to a different player. How did we move 5 steps backwards in quality and video template 7 years later?

If you remember or have ever played halo back in the day, its always been fast paced like this. Editing or not, this is actually what its like playing halo.. Especially with friends, it's cut fast likely because they were playing fast

Some constructive critism, most others are echoing the same but I just want to still say my own thoughts. - Narrow the audio spectrum with a filter, so that the high volumes are softer and the low volumes louder. This will better capture the highs and lows of video game commentary. Low casual talking could be a little louder, but the screams of excitement could be a little lower. Don't worry about that when filming of course, just adjust in post. - Bring back team-colored borders on the face cams. - Less frequent cuts, especially on an old game like this in which the maps look quite similar with the same textures on everything. Regardless of the game though cuts this fast make it hard to follow what's happening. There's plenty of positives and you're doing great, but those are 3 legit criticisms that I hope you guys use to improve even more. :)

It was a bit difficult to follow the because the webcam borders didn't have team colors on them. I think that if the borders had red or blue, it would be a lot easier to track what's going on.

There are so many cuts I cant tell what the hell is going on. Slow down and follow 1 person for at least 10 seconds. not EVERY kill has to be on camera. Watch an achievement hunter TTT round or something, theyve got it down to a science. Make sure you add team colors to whoever is on screen.

One of my favorite custom games was on halo 3. We called it "RUN!!" It was played on Sandtrap with custom spawn near vehicles. Infected had max speed and max camo so they could be just as fast as most vehicles and just hard enough to see that if your vehicle stopped for just a bit you would either be flipped by a hammer or killed by a sword. The more players you have the more fun it would be. Humans always had random weapons as well so you never knew if would need to drive or be the gunner for someone else. Every kill for the infected just made it that much harder to outrun them.

One of mu favorite things to do with a group of 3 other friends was to stick as many plasma (sticky) grenades to a vehicle and blow it sky high, seeing how high we could get it, depending on where the plasnade was stuck to the vehicle. Try the game mode our family calls jumpy jump. It’s on halo 3 I believe and you play in blood gulch and everyone has random weapons and can run max and jump max. It’s a very chaotic game mode that really good for all maps but especially blood gulch.

Halo 2 Cat and Mouse. Everyone has a single life. Map: Bloodgultch. Cat - Red Team: 2 people in 2 wraiths. Mice - Everyone else: In warthogs. Rules are as followed;; A time limit can be anything you want but must have a limit for mice to win. Mice can not kill the cats. Mice get X second heard start. Used to play this for hours on end with some friends I made on the original halo 2, after discovering through other people online.

I like to play a game mode my uncle came up with called golden gun flas and what it is is a Halo 3 game mode where you have you speed on all the way and low gravity. You can't pick up any weapons and you only have a pistol. You would typically play this on sandtrap. There's another version of golden gun flas where you have random guns every time you die.
