the joy you show when playing simple games like these is what i want back. i havnt felt this type of joy in gaming since halo reach when i would spend every day after school building custom game maps for my friends all to enjoy on the weekends. it was bliss. i mean, pure fun. all of us yelling at insults at each other laughing as we watch our friends die in some crazy way. it was for sure the "good ol days" now, ive moved to LA last year and havnt met any friends yet.

Bruh i trained the AI with a story just like this. The character and story was the same and it included using the nuclear codes to destroy the crime riddled major cities like Chicago. Its so cool to see the AI learning and using the material for future stories. I think my story is called "How to fix the homeless crisis" and you can find published stories on the app.

I don't believe the AI is trained on player stories. Part of this is because players don't offer very good training data - after all, the AI is meant to generate prose (descriptions, controlling other characters etc.) as the dungeon master, not actions as the player (often simple and only relating to one character, the protagonist). So fine-tuning it further on player data is actually counter-productive since you will be introducing simpler grammar, incomplete/broken sentences, and tense issues (some players write in first, others in second). Also note that it's not a great idea to feed an AI its own output since that doesn't actually give it any more data. It would be like teaching yourself how to write better by imitating your pre-existing, subpar writing samples (imitating, not analysing or fixing), which would actually be making you worse.

I had a similar experience with A.I. Dungeon. The first thing I did was wake up in a hospital. After having a few silly conversations I decided to take it in a different direction, and kicked a man who was sick into a wall killing him instantly. Then I focused my will power to punch and shatter a wall. After I made it back home I learned how to fly and told the local news. Them there was a explosion in my kitchen. As it turns out there was a new kind of nuke secretly being made by Amarica to fight the Soviets, and as soon as I found out the Soviet Union was still around in that world I summoned "The Army of Steel" and equipped them with the best weapons. I went to war with the Soviets and started gaining ground. At this time I started to firing lightening bolts out of my hands and deflecting bullets with my will power causing them to retreat. It wasn't fast enough, so I created a robot and as soon as I turned it on it started slaughtering them, and so I made a robot factory. That speed up their defeat drastically. After the Soviets were destroyed I went to war with the Mutants. And when I made it to the City of the Mutants I lost the Army of Steel. So I cried and sang a song of their bravery. Then sent in the robots that could also fly at this point. We turned the tide and destroyed the Mutants army and then I used my powers to cause the remaining Mutants to explode. Laugh in victory, and called up the President to let him know of my victory. Then I made spaceships and went to Mars. There I fell ill, and prayed to the gods for healing and the goddess of healing invited me to her temple, and their she healed my illness. Not long after I left someone accosted me so I fried him with a lightning bolt, but somehow someone injured me, so I asked the goddess to heal me again, and she did. So then I asked her to marry me she did and I lived happily ever after.

I was playing this once and I ended up fighting a guy named Billy the Destroyer about 3 or 4 times and each time he turned out to be related to me in a different way. He was lover the first time, me the second time, and either my brother or my best friend the third. He finally died when I told him he should be dead, and he just fell over. Then my mother randomly walked into the underwater cave we were fighting in with a bunch of groceries (it was a post apocalyptic setting by the way) and asked me why I killed him

My friend and I were playing a custom scenario once. We were on a gameshow where the person in last place would be killed by firing squad. My character got last place. I was trying to avoid being shot while my friend's character was jerking off in the corner. I was eventually killed, and I typed something along the lines of "I get blazed," and the game wrote something like "The pain stops, man. It's all over." And my character was somehow alive again.

He's just incredibly busy, probably more so than ever before. He's basically just released the current flagship game for VR, and is under tremendous pressure to ensure it's the best it can be. They're also in the process of developing a lighter weight Boneworks based game for the Quest, and who knows what else.
