I think some minor quality of life can go a long way here: move the prestige selector to the skill tree to save a click, and show your resources collected for the run while you're in a run. A double-speed button could also be a neat idea.

As a young game developer i really like when content creators play these not so popular games. A game doesn't have to be a battler royale or a FPS to be fun,these unique games are what the future of videogames is.

According to my food handler's class years back, raw potatoes can give you botulism, so I've always been super intentional about making sure they are fully cooked.

Yep, botulism is definitely right down the bottom of things you want to get (plus if they're a little green, cooking them can reduce the tropanes present and make you a little less likely to have a severe reaction)

Just played it, took me 3.5 hours to complete with all achievements. Not that long, but long enough for me. Had fun playing it and for 3€ you cant complain!

This looks like exactly the kind of game I get into, thanks! Picked it up from this video. Edit: 3-4 hours to complete. Solid for the price and something you can come back to since it's pretty chill. It doesn't really need any doublespeed options since it's already so short.

While I do agree that the glamorization of cryptocurrency is bad, at least in this game it seems to be on theme; it has a bit of a computer programmy motif, with the “termination” splash text and upgrades like “antivirus.”

This one game i play on my phone called bitcoin billionaire came out back when crypto was really not taken very seriously and its just really about being a turbo nerd and i like that, but then crypto became an actual thing and like damn :( and then the dev team made nfts like damn :(

A big part of the whole Crypto thing is just Fear Of Missing Out. It's all "this *will* go to the moon, so get in early!" this, "If you don't buy in now, it'll cost a fortune to get in later!" that. Hype to the Nth degree. All aimed at the part of the brain that's good at making split-second decisions, but terrible at considering the long-term consequences.

Feels like crypto is becoming a synonym for passive generation in some games, when they could go with about anything else like stocks or server hosting. Here it just seems to be currency conversion.

WRT AAA games: With how *expensive* they are (nevermind "deluxe" editions), i settled on just watching playthough of them. Looks impressive? Sure. Worth it? Eh not really. Let influencers and dedicated YTers play them, i'll watch. The economic model of AAA games are massive investment to justify big price. But econ 101 tells us that more substitutive competition means lower price, and that kinda contradicts isn't it? That's how i see the explosion of indie games (and sort-of downfall of AAA). At the end of it, games are _supposed_ to entertain. And if i'm already entertained by cheap(er) indie games (lethal company, buckshot roulette, nova drift, etc), why choose the expensive toys?
