Didn't know he wrote it for Bea Lillie! That explains a LOT! Be sure to hear the two versions by the great Patricia Routledge posted here on KZbin: a very different performing personality than Lillie, but a equally brilliant comic actor! (And what a GAY drawing, in every sense of the word, especially if you understand French!)
