So happy to see this tune get a look-in again. For those wondering, the first time he played it live properly was last month when recording for a UK TV show called Joolz Holland, which hasn't broadcast yet. So technically this is the first time we've seen him play this woefully underrated song live. There is an audio demo of him doing this at a soundcheck back in '94 though.

I remember buying this album when it first came out while home on leave after boot camp and just listening to it over and over. This was always one of my favorite songs, and a total highlight of an amazing set.

@@fedoff2190 I’ve never personally owned The Masterplan album but had all the CD singles - Stand By Me this one was the B-Side of, although it was written a lot earlier than 1997. A timeless tune either way 👍

I was there. Flew from denver. And yes HALF the crowd was dead because they were there for Garbage. I want to go to a city on this tour that will go crazy for this song and LIVE FOREVER.

In general I find that Seattle crowds are pretty subdue. Though the crown for Duran Duran a couple of nights previous were amazing. The version of Live Forever was really special. I'm uploading the whole concert now.
