I am a baby boomer from the Zeppelin/pink Floyd generation and love Noel. I totally agree with what you say. Noel is an awesome song writer and, dare I say, right up there is the writing stakes with James Patrick Page and Robert plant and I don't say that often as I am a Zeppelin/yardbirds nut. 😊

It’s sad that he had to go through some tough times while writing and making this album, but man this is his best work ever in my opinion. The maturity, clarity with the lyrics and the truth of the human condition is totally here, where it was amiss in even the best Oasis songs. On top of that his vocals are so on point and this band is on fire. This is a wonderful piece of art. Love the new album. It’s on rotation 24/7❤

What a glorious tune that is. That chorus... Just pure joy. Drenched in Beatles goodness from the Epi Casino to the strings to the backward sounding Rain-esque guitar in the outro. Honestly, I think Noel Gallagher is underrated as a songwriter if anything.
