Noel has often said if he had that night in Paris again he would’ve done the gig and they would’ve gone on hiatus for a year. However if him and Liam still continued to fight so bitterly then it was inevitable.

And to be honest, the way Liam was singing later on the DOYS tour, I'd almost think it would be preferable to have Noel's mic turned up and Liam's down. His voice just couldn't handle singing most of those Oasis tunes anymore, there was nothing worse than the constant pulling away from the mic and ending notes mid sentence/breath. Liam's voice used to be amazing, but if you never noticed Noel's backing vocals perfectly complemented his singing and made him sound a lot better esp. in later years.
@SoAmazinglyCrafty14 жыл бұрын
pegger18636 Liam has thyroid issues which is why he has a lot of trouble singing now , but his voice has made a huge comeback 😍
@MichaelAnthonyPresents3 жыл бұрын
@@SoAmazinglyCrafty1 his voice now sounds like his early 2000s voice, but without the rasp. I wish it would be like that. Nothing amazing, but can at least sing the songs.

If Liam would get stem cell therapy in his vocal chords they would regrow into what they were at the start, apparently it's an insanely successful treatment.

Lastly when Oasis do reunite, the reunion tour will definitely break records in Europe and the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and practically every where in the world except North America. Oasis may sell out and play several nights In a row at The Hollywood Bowl, or Madison Square Garden, but that would be it. Americans never quite got Brit-Pop or Oasis and Blue and several other bands, and I don't know why. Liam Gallagher optimises what Rock N' Roll is all about, so you would think that they would love Oasis in the USA, and don't get me wrong many people do, but many people just also roll their eyes at them. In South America there are a number of bands from all over, and around the world etc, that are practically worshipped over in South America, Oasis being one of them. Oasis are popular in almost every music loving country throughout the World and that does include America. They have sold millions of albums in America, and their albums and singles chart well their, but it's like they just have this core group of fans almost like a cult following who seem them, because otherwise, they are just another band in America. Sorry for the ass post. I thank anyone who took the time to read it. In saying that if you or someone don't agree with something I said, or anything that I wrote, then i'm happy to hear your opinion, but if it turns into an argument I'll just leave the page. Anyways peace and love to you all. From Tom in Sydney Australia.
@timothymerrylees75903 жыл бұрын
Oasis never hit America properly because their songs use more than four chords throughout the whole song. 😂😂😂

Noel is great, but he's said before the reason Liam went mental at him is because he thought Noel turned the press and fans against him. Which made him paranoid, taking that into account and the obvious tampering with Liams microphone during the last tour, I'd say Noels more to blame. He pushed Liam to far. But thats only an outsiders opinion, no one can really claim to know exactly what happened.

Liam touring solo is proof that the people still wanna see it

@pegger1863611 жыл бұрын
I've never heard that rumour until now about Noel tampering with the microphone. It seems pretty unlikely to me that could possibly go on for long without Liam noticing. Not only that, but doesn't Liam himselft have the ability to have the techs turn his mic up or down AS he is singing, depending on his own judgement of the volume/how his voice is feeling...?
@Mekahl1314 жыл бұрын
oasis was the best thing that ever happened to me...noel inspired me to play guitar and write songs aswell...oasis was my life...my favourite time was when their new albums came out...i dunno what the fuck ill do without them...noel can go solo but it wont be the same anymore.
@kcurran9913 Жыл бұрын
Do you like Noel's solo career?
@paintballing48911 жыл бұрын
Some fans believe that during the last Oasis tour (2008-2009) Noel turned down Liams microphone, then turning up his own mic for most of the gigs. So his vocals would be louder, and Liams voice would be drowned out and barely heard by the audience. If you watch some of their 2009 gigs, this seems to be the case.

Its fun playing small places because the fans, even at the back, can be pretty close to the band and its got a more personal feel. Stadiums are "hey, thousands of people, thanks for the money!". Oasis don't pull anything special out at stadium shows to make up for it.

Liams fault my arse. Just as much Noel's fault as anyone elses. The difference is Noel is sneaky and clever, hence the tampering of Liam's microphone. Why do you think Gem, Andy and Chris started a band with Liam and not Noel?

OK smartarse. They all sound the same? Tell me what is the link between Songbird and Falling Down, The Importance of Being Idle and Champagne Supernova, I'm Outta Time and To Be Where There is Life How do they all sound the same? What has always been the same with Oasis has been Liams voice (he doesn't have alot of range admittedly) and their Wall of Sound style of recording...but you have to admit that their was alot more space on the last record than ever before.

Coz he needed a band to have his own songs played. Wouldn't have made it on his own and at that time probably didn't have the money to hire session studio musicians or the contacts to form his own band anyway. I guess in the end they all benefited mutually from joining forces. Remember Noel had tried out as singer for The Inspiral Carpets and had been knocked back , I think that would have dented his ego somewhat so what better way to get back at it than join a band at the bottom.

without noel there would have been no songs, and a band is all about songs. it was originally liam's band, then noel joined and became the leader and songwriter, and then they became successful.
@MedalionDS914 жыл бұрын
Arguing semantics. Oasis is just a name, but the band is WITH Noel Gallagher as the primary band leader and song-writer. Even if Liam fronted it with Tony and Bonehead and Guigs, they've all left or were fired. The band name of Oasis may have been with Liam as the only remaining member, but Oasis was really a band worth giving a damn about when Noel stepped in.
