I think most defenses have a hard time with stopping good to elite mobile QBs, especially if they are good passers as well. Lamar makes good defenses look worse against the run. Same with Jalen and Jayden.

Mahomes has been exploiting the rules as a runner for long. Nothing new there. Agree with Nick that no hate there for anyone trying to give their team an edge within the rules, but it still is a douche move to exploit the officiating. Dude doesn't need to grandize his greatness that way. We all know what he can do without going the cheap route. That kind of behaviour should not be celebrated anyway and should be cleaned out. I always wondered how the narrative of #15's athletism was created, but you see the noodlearm tackling every game in the fear of 15yds penalty so he essentially gets a free walk to 1st down or even end zone from time to time.

So if you go with Carr and because of his skill level - you get into the playoffs and it is “one and done.” or, you go with Rattler and his unsure level of talent, and you have a “pile of poop” season and don’t even make the playoffs. Get real Brandon, the known quantity is what a coach is going to go with, not the unknown “I hope, I hope, I hope, quantity.” if I am a coach, I have to have a signed piece of paper from the owner and GM that give me a two year “get out of jail free card“ about the results of experimenting with a fifth round rookie. (He’s only played in eight games so,he isn’t even halfway through a rookie season yet.”

@@jamesgordon470 I would approach next season, JG, as an expansion team and get under the cap. It even took Sean a full season of bad football before he made it back to the playoffs. Now, I know he got lucky with Bo Ellis, but Sean sometimes had a way of making his own luck.
