@@mikestoltzfus9316 I just said it. He's different. He's nothing like any QB the Saints have ever had and I think that's a good thing. @LouisWinthorpe3 And I'm not dissing Carr. I know he's our starter and I'm not into hyping up Jake or Rattler taking his spot. As far as the competition I think Jake has been getting favored over Rattler but I want the right guy. So we'll see in preseason where they stand.

@pbm82645 ай бұрын
@@mschanandlerbong4206 Yea. The perfect example of them blaming Carr was the first Atlanta game. There were 6 things that went wrong in the red zone and only one was Carr’s fault. There was a penalty that negated a 1st down from a pass to the 3. There was a penalty that negated a first down run to the 4. There was a fumble at the 8. There was a dropped goal line pass. There was a receiver who messed up and stopped on a pattern. But all those silly fans talked about was the interception, as if Carr was the only QB in NFL history ever to throw an interception. They couldn’t blame it on one of their pet players, so they crucified the outsider. Real Christian behavior from “Christian” Louisiana.

@@marcoestrada2653 Carr also said in a mid week press conference during the bye week that they will have the red zone fixed. When asked for specifics, he rightly said that he would not give any. Then, lo and behold, the red zone woes were fixed and they finished the season as the hottest red zone team and were like 15 of 18 to finish the season. I don’t know exactly. They were so good I lost count. But did Carr get any credit for that by the silly fans? And I would dare say that it was probably at least 80% Carr who made those changes, because Carmichael had no clue. So Underhill praises a 5th round rookie as having great arm talent and the most arm talent on the roster right now, and the best he can say about Carr is that he is “looking good.” Are they afraid of the “fans” still and that is why they hesitate to say good things about Carr? This just in. Carr has more arm talent than Rattler. He is a pure passer and a gunslinger from back in his days at Fresno State. He can make any NFL throw with accuracy. He has put up the numbers despite playing with dysfunctional teams including last year with the Saints. Give him stability and an offensive guru like Brees had for those 16 years with the Saints and he would have comparable numbers. And maybe better numbers because, as Underhill pointed out, Carr has a higher completion percentage than Brees had in 3 step drop back passes. He is also a good roll out passer and he has a stronger arm than Brees and throws a better deep ball. Why can’t we talk about that instead of fantasizing about a rookie tatted up and pierced up QB? That’s right. I went there. Carr is also a Christian and a good family man. He is the whole package. You would think that “Christian” Louisiana would appreciate that, and give him a modicum of a benefit of the doubt instead of treating him so ridiculously like they did last year. But maybe these “Christians” just follow the crowd instead of the Savior, and drink too much to think straight? There I said it. You would think that podcasters would have some responsibility in pushing against the mob mentality and try to bring some sanity into the Carr situation and talk about some of those things. Kubiak is the luckiest man alive. He doesn’t have to “develop” the next “great” QB flop. He already has a proven veteran QB who can make any NFL throw with velocity and accuracy. The playbook is wide open. Why don’t we talk about that?
