Oh my a fellow DIYer and just the fingers on the wood had me. Love the video a s always. If I could rewatch the first min and a half over and over I would haha. I wish more ASMRtists did rubbing videos with fingertips:( Thanks for all the hard work. 💕💕

Happy Saturday, NoFancy! I really enjoyed this one! ^-^ It was very creative, super relaxing (as always), and a really interesting and productive restoration. I love working with wood in general. What grit levels of sandpaper did you use (just curious)? What type of oil did you use at the end? Have you restored other wooden things (you seemed to know what you were doing, and had solid technique)? The spatula turned out great! :) Thank you for the ASMR DIY video. xo

Aw thank you!! Your comments and support are always a great motivation ❤️ I don't know the exact grit, just went from coarse to fine and finished it with linseed oil. I wish I had time to do more work with my hands but what I mostly deal with is kitchen stuff like cutting boards. It's still fun though 😌

I've always wanted to make a nice hardwood cutting board, or a chess board with really nice wood. But, I don't think I have good enough wood working tools to have it turn out the way I'd want. So, it sits for now in my bucket list. :) I like watching you do crafty things like this. Don't know why exactly! Haha :D It adds another positive element to your videos and hits me in my creative spot I guess. ^-^ Thanks again!

I wonder if you would do something similar to this but like a rough piece of wood with cloth or a sponge rubbing on it so that there's a scratchy/tearing noise? I think it's kind of rare in asmr from what I can find, but I love that sound a lot!
