Love those thin pages of Better Homes 😊 And the last 10 minutes with a bit faster page turning was super tingly 😊

Burnt toast was something my mom taught me to do when I was young, in the 90s. Now I would use activated charcoal and always take with me whenever I travel, but I have also used burnt toast in lieu of the charcoal. Not something you'd really want to do regularly as I don't think it's very good for you and probably not as effective, but it has helped when it's been needed! 🤷🏼♀️ For what it's worth. Love this video!! Thank you! Also I'm crossing my fingers for some pebble art!

Oh and not that I'm super knowledgeable, but my understanding is that both activated charcoal and burnt toast absorbs ingested toxins. You can find evidence for and against burnt toast being a carcinogen, but I don't know if there's any other reason we don't hear about it as a remedy anymore.

Ohhhh. I saw an ASMR video (I didn’t click it) doing diamond painting, I wondered what that was! Thanks!

Haha. This one made me laugh. Here in the UK, we would say "prepare", where you guys say "fix". Here, you "fix" something that is broken (either a physical repair, or a problem)... So, the line "Americans love to eat pancakes, and so easy to fix", to my mind sounds like "Americans love to eat pancakes, but we can sort out that problem easily!"
@fallenstar513913 күн бұрын
lol...I can see how that would sound strange! This is something people mainly say in the south. I don't think the majority of Americans use the word "fix" to mean "prepare". It's definitely moreso a regional term. I do hear people say it from time to time though.

That magazine and that little baby on the cover is 2 years older than me. Just saying. In the words of Rooster Cogburn I've grown old.
