I totally get that the short TikTok style videos probably get more views and are easier to make, but I just want to say how much I appreciate your videos! I’ve been running two games of Witchlight (one on Roll20 and one in-person), and I’m confident my sessions wouldn’t have been nearly as fun and dynamic if it weren’t for your videos that helped me prep. Great vid! As usual I think I’m going to have the Herengon steal Jingle’s magic birdcage key as well as the truffles. The hag has a bounty on the key and Talavar. This will force the heroes to confront the bandits to obtain the key if they want to free Talavar and gain his support and knowledge. I love the idea of the heroes roughing it through swamp water with a birdcage on a stick!! Talavar afraid they’ll drop him to a drowning death! He backseat drives their every move! Lol Little more interesting than ..hey help I need a key it’s over there… while over there .. if the heroes are nice a tree will give it to them!

2:58 so uh… my party killed the harengon brigands. Then offered there corpses as food for the snakes…. Yeah, i had to homebrew in nasty repercussions for that. The jabberwok is now a former dragon that used to protect and enforce zybilnas rules thats been corrupted by the hags. They have issues with it enforcing zybilna rules instead of complete control as zybilna must be fully destroyed before they have full command of it. But it’s definitely super evil now. O yeah, the whole land has become a swirling black storm, and the heart on the palace has broken.

We tried to back out of the coup last minute and everyone hated us, we came back after Thither and dealt with Bavlorna, after which we installed Morgort as the queen =P She was such a huge help throughout our adventures.

With the snakes at Slanty Tower, they give multiple options to make the snakes less likely to attack. Sir Talavar warns the PCs to whisper & tells them the snakes are sleeping. The book also gives the option to persuade the snakes to not care about you and move on. Plenty of options to not battle them if that's preferred.

Just had a thought to make the snakes at the slanted towers more terrifying. What if Bavlorna enchanted the cage so that her minions could always track it? That way even if the party takes the still locked up pseudo-dragon with them to telemy hill, they will continue to pursue.

@@NoFunAllowed My adventuring team finally encountered the rabbit bandits in Hither. I know it’s recommended that you create a new character and start at level one for this campaign. But we used existing characters that were only level four. One of the milestones is reaching the Fey wilds. The Tiefling great old one pact of the chain warlock and our pacifist halfling bard normally are accompanied by a high elf fighter. Our fighter was absent. Tiefling did not take well to being mugged by what he considered to be food. He killed four out of the six bandits. Even with their pack tactics, they only brought him to half HP. The last two fled to warn their boss about us. We kept their snail and rode around the swamp on it. The Tiefling is chaotic neutral. He’s a big believer in The importance of ownership. Later when we encountered their boss, Tiefling got branded a couple times. The bard grabbed his scarf. Tiefling used that opportunity to bash him in the head a couple times with a club.
