I filmed this! Had no idea it was on KZbin until now. 32k views? Damn! I really need to digitize and upload more of the shows I videoed back then.

I was at this show! My first ever concert at 16. There was an ice storm that night and while waiting for the doors to open my hair froze into a block of ice.
@brookeschell46344 жыл бұрын
I was there too!! This show is one of my most cherished memories because it was the first time I really experienced the way punk rock kids come together to take care of their own. It felt like a big stinky drunk family that I couldn't have been happier to be a part of. I'm stoked to share this memory with you, whoever you are lol. I remember everybody being all huddled up in line before the show trying to keep warm, passing a bottle of whisky around, and then after the show people were going around using the covers of the NOFX CD's they had just bought at the show to scrape the ice from the windshields of anyone that needed it. That was a really special night for me. I was 16 and learned a lot about life that night 💖

I like to feel that was the scene back in the 90s. I grew up outside of Detroit and had similar experiences going to shows downtown every week. Great story.

That’s awesome! I saw them two years later at Warped Tour for the first time. So many good times at La Luna... every time I walk past 9th and Pine it gets a little dusty.

We came all the way from aloha. Mom begged me and my brother not to go. We drove an 1982 civic downtown in a ice storm. We wouldn’t have missed it for anything. I still have a full ticket for that show, from one of our friends whose mom wouldn’t let him go.

One of the best shows I've ever witnessed. It was so incredible to be there, part of this hot sweaty swaying mass of humanity singing along while the city was covered in ice and snow outside.

I was there at seventeen years old. I remember it was an icy night and we barely made it from aloha. Our bong water had froze in the car while we were in the show. I think the show was only 12$. We wrecked the car in the ditch at the end of my street and walked the rest of the way home. Good times and great memories.

This is an EPIC show! One of my friends owned most of their other albums, but the first one that I purchased was Heavy Petting Zoo. I fell in love with NOFX, I bought the blue t-shirt, and purchased the LP banned cover entitled "Eating Lamb" Much love for NOFX🤘
