Yeah, my great grandfather was 109 when we where kids.. I used to sit on his lap and he would sing me songs. Also my aunt had her second kid at 45 years old. I'm 39 and I don't have kids yet. No worries there. I'll have them later.

I love how they explained that God Himself (Pre-Incarnate Jesus) was with the angels to announce the birth of Isaac and about the destruction of the wicked cities of Sodom and Gommorrah.

@Joy Saldo Great question! You are absolutely right: the Bible says that we all have sinned. And it does tell us that the payment for sin is death (Romans 6 v23). But it doesn't stop there! It goes on to say that "the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." If you watch the rest of this series, you'll see how God dealt with the problem of sin and death through his Son, Jesus Christ. He sent Jesus to earth to die in our place, taking the penalty of our sin upon himself. Now we can believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness, and we will be saved from death, and have eternal life instead! So keep watching to learn the rest of the story.

There is still something extremely important that is missing or, to say it in a better way, incorrect. The people who visited Abraham weren’t God with 2 angels.The three people were the Holy Trinity:The Holy Father, The Holy Son and the Holy Spirit. One God in three persons. More over, Abraham DID recognize that it was God who came to him.The proof is in the Bible, when he adresses to the three people with ,,O, LORD, if it be that I found favour in Thy sight, pass not by Thy servant.” (Genesis,chapter 18 ) So he adressed them as to one single person, like God indeed is. So ,the Holy Trinity was seen for the first time at the oak of Mamre, by Abraham.

The part about the stars and abraham are a mistranslation. In nowhere does it say his offspring will be as numerous as the stars. He says your offspring will be great like the dust in the earth already. When he is referencing the stars, he is talking about how they will be like the stars in heaven. The elohim or spiritual beings like michael or gabriel. Not to mention his descendent will be Jesus

It’s foreshadowing of Jesus. Essentially, the innocent animals are receiving the punishment that we should receive for our sin. They are suffering in our place. Jesus is the final sacrifice, which is why we no longer need them anymore 😊
